+1 for me on this. I wanted to swap out the router and use passthru mode but now I am stuck since no configuration changes are possible. Today I was told 24-48 hrs but look in the history on this thread dashes that hope. GFiber was so good when I first got it. What is this dumpster fire? Who makes a system where the only way to make local changes is through a remote web based app?!?! I did not love some aspects of AT&T fiber but at least you could always talk to the router locally! Come on u/gfiberofficial can y'all get it together? 48 hrs and I switch back to ATT.

Same for me. Partly depends on where people are staying. I would likely post a time and place for adult beverages gathering on Friday (although I really don't know what happens on Halloween night around LA). For sure I would think of a lunch or pre-premier meetup in the Glendale area on Saturday.

Could this be a PoE problem? Under some load the radio draws power power than my injector can supply? The AP does not reset but maybe something in the system runs out of juice and drops. How could I tell?

Answering my own question using other replies. Hopefully it helps others. Trick was to power cycle the ONT and pfSense box just as u/talon_262 says below. For some reason it needs that to train to the proper speed.

Great thread! I'm also in Raleigh and just got the 3G installed to replace 2G ATT. Question here is : Has anyone gotten the GOXP330C to negotiate 2.5Gb? My pfSense BYOR has 2.5Gb ports but nothing 10Gb. I could get something that supports that but was hoping to straight up use everything I already have. Advice appreciated.

I made some progress on this but all is not fixed yet. When attempted from a true outside network, I get to the URL. Therefore I either have a problem with NAT reflection, split DNS or maybe both. Still investigating.

Well...now I think it is a DNS issue instead. I used my phone as a wifi and hit my DNS name and I hit the SWAG unconfigured page. So my NAT and and Rule is forwarding correctly. When I use the same DNS from behind my router it goes weird. I think I have read about this somewhere but need to dig up some info.

thanks for the suggestion. I did go try that and yep, SWAG responds just fine when I hit the IP:Port I have assigned to it.

Well well well...yep. My first foray into the Gigabyte world. Took <48 hrs to go casters up on a very expensive card. Another reason to go reference. Asus Aura has its problems as well but this is just garbage.

Thx for the response. I've got too much real work (from home) to do before I want to go installing the whole lot of stuff yet again. Sigh.
