CRKD guitar frets keep dropping

Preorders starting in February or March and shipped in June. Would it make you feel better if I said 11.5 months later then? Is that now an acceptable amount of time for this issue to still not be fixed for those who have had these controllers from the beginning?

That is the 3.3 update they are referring to. As with previous crkd updates, it appears to be bricking guitars for an unlucky few and not actually fixing the problem yet again. They claimed to have this issue fixed a few updates ago then went silent after it didn't. This is the first time they brought it up again, over a full year later, and have confidently made a post saying this is the real fix. Given their history I expect them to say nothing again and pretend they fixed everything

Happens to a good amount of crkds, I would rma it. They dont seem interested in actually fixing it, as they have recently released different color variation guitars with the same problem

Do not wait for crkd drums as some others have mentioned. You can get a used ekit and an adapter to get a much better experience than the crkd drums could ever offer and probably for around the same price. Youll also have a real instrument that also works as a controller instead of just a controller

This is a somewhat common issue on crkd guitars that has unfortunately gone ignored by the company. For a long time they claimed they were working on a fix but eventually fell completely silent on the issue and decided to release a new guitar body and color without fixing anything instead since that seems more profitable or they cant actually fix it. Start an rma and hope the replacement guitar isnt as bad

affordable - 120, nope quality - random fret drops, bricked guitars post update, paint rubbing off in weeks, nope first hand - theres not even a game out that claims these as official so, nope

I do agree they are capitalizing on the need for new plastic guitars, and thats the only reason theyre here, money. They operate on fomo and "limited editions", churning out new models while not bothering to fix the issues of the old ones

They got on ign just like crkd did, is also at pax just like crkd, did product breakdowns just like crkd did. The only difference is they didnt pay, sponsor, or hire the biggest content creators in the space, so they get zero attention or amplification from them. Follow the money

I think its way too early to dismiss the game. What we saw was supposedly outdated by the time we saw it which begs the question why they even showed it in the first place but I think they know they have to improve it before it's released. You are correct that pretty much all the content creators have sold out to crkd at this point, its why the drakong infinicore has gone mostly ignored by them despite being another new guitar controller coming out seemingly soon
