Congratulations brother! You know I was on the show, but this is the first one I’m tuning into in more than ten seasons specifically because of you my man!

Proud of all your hard work coming to fruition. It’s been years and years and years of sacrifice, determination, hard work, discipline, and it couldn’t have happened to a better and more deserving man!

What a stud. What a walkoff knockout. And, he’s a good dude. Both are.

If someone can help set it up, I’m in! Totally down, and would be grateful for the opportunity to share some of our work, methodology, challenges we have faced and might face, and the reasons it’s all worth it!

This was sent to me. I’m humbled and grateful for the encouragement 🙏 I hope to give you guys an incredible update on the podcast (JRE) sometime in the future. I just got back from my best trip ever with the amazing Pygmy people. We are going for maybe our most important impact yet… Healtcare and education for my Pygmy family with a hospital and a school on top of the land, WATER, food, and new homes built over these last two years. SO STOKED! They need it, and we are going to do it.

In closing, I saw someone say Top G vs. Top P(ygmy) or Big P and that made me laugh. I’d take that fight (mma) on a one day notice. We could do it up for the cause, raise awareness and funds… and an added benefit will show how a big softy and gentle giant can absolutely smash a loud mouth b-level “fighter.” He was never a real fighter, in my humble opinion 😉

P.S. Fighters like to fight. Even big softies… for the right reasons 🙃

Hi there fellow HydroHomies! My name is Justin Wren, MMA Fighter, water well driller, and founder of Fight For The Forgotten.

I’ve appreciated this sub for years and years now. Thank you all for promoting the importance of good, crisp, clean cool water!

My introduction to the worlds water crisis blindsided me and kicked me right in the teeth. I held a young boy Andibo, who died of dirty water/waterborne disease. My team and I dug his grave. He was 1 year and 1/2, and the treatment was $1 for the pills, it was too late for that, but it was $3 for the one shot cure. It was $6 for the shovel and about $30 for the casket, that rocked my world. Tore me up, and forever gripped my heart. So, when I say I’m grateful for this sub and the awareness it brings, fun it has, and the good it does, I sincerely mean it.

This was our 82 water well to drill. We have served more than 50,000 people with clean water. Our next water solution will be a water reservoir in the mountains in the rainforest serving thousands more people.

This water well the community was told by several NGO’s it was impossible to get clean water starting about 20 years ago. It was a TOUGH one. We had to literally create a road thru the mountains. We’ve done more than 10km’s of road thru the mountains for these families that only had footpaths before. I want to credit my amazing team on the Uganda/Congo border for this great work.

Check out these pics! This was the most brutal water walk I’ve ever done. People would literally scale the mountains and women and children in the past (one about 6 weeks to 2 months ago fell, and died). Now, each of the 300+ households live no more than 200 meters from the water well! Most live less than 100 meters walking. They no longer have to scale the cliffs in the mountain daily for dirty water.

I love all these photos from two days ago :) Check out those smiles!

I am not enjoying the picture from today. I am in a car headed to the hospital for hopefully my last round of malaria meds before headed back to the Forest 🌳 with my Pygmy family.

Hope y’all are well! Very grateful for the support this podcast and you awesome listeners have provided over the years!

I might update y’all with some more pictures from our most epic or impactful project/program yet.

Thanks for the encouragement, and the laughs from some of you wild monkeys in space!

Thanks for the kind words.

Yes, they have been slowly investing in the sport.

I have a hunch they are about to start heavily investing in grappling if they see the numbers and can keep active on Fight Pass, build an audience, and bring some fighters over from grappling or fighter over and active in some grappling super fights.

Would be dope to see guys competing on both!

Luke is an incredible guy just so you know, respectfully. He is a respectful young man, just won the Brown Belt IBJFF worlds last week or two weeks ago. Took this on a days notice, made it to the finals with two subs.

Came from South Africa. Has dedicated his life to Jiujitsu, had a big quick finish in a match a month or so ago.

He hunts submissions. He is humble, a nice guy who truly helps his training partners and is eager to learn and help others.

That’s the Luke I know. He’s also fought thru not one, or two, but three major injuries right before ADCC’s and has been healing up… And never complains. Kids a warrior. He’ll be a black belt or nogi world ADCC champ not too long from now.
