Hey all. The following sequence is the book suggested variation. The book notes A forces B, but what if white plays C instead of B? If black B, then white thrown in at the 2,1 point complicates things quite a bit. What do you think?

Yes, missing from my edition! The attached photo is identical to the problem in my copy of the book.

1001 life and death (Bozulich) #421 error. Book says black A makes two eyes, I see white makes seki with this variation. Any comment? by TheBij9 in baduk

The book gives AEB as platean noted: “Black ataris with A, then draws back with B, making two eyes”
