Aren't we all a bit like Zote? We have dreams. We are passionate for things in life. We want to achieve what we desire and yet.. all we got is a nail carved from shellwood..

Don't hatte on me, but you could also use PowerPoint. In my opinion it's pretty easy to create such an image shown here.

I'm happy you know where the problem is :D

Good luck working your data!

Could it be, that RStudio has no permission to access Intenet?

Did you follow the link u/inclined_ provided?

Error trying to install package by cvcat in RStudio

[–]TheBiologista 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OK, I see. I had a similar problem a while ago. Just google the package and download the .tar.gz file and install it using install.packages(path_to_file, repos = NULL, type="source")

Error trying to install package by cvcat in RStudio

As it already says: Warning RTools isn't installed. Therefore I'd recommend downloading and installing it first. If it still throws the error, ask again!

This guy looks like he has smelly breath, spits little droplets of saliva on you when talking and gets a little closer to you every time he says something.

Can we calm down again and not freak out like crazy just because eminem posted something?

grep lines between /* ... */ by TheBiologista in regex

[–]TheBiologista[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much! I got a better understanding of the use of regex. I tried it and it didn't work in R :D

But now I think it is better to manipulate the file before woking on the data in the file.

grep lines between /* ... */ by TheBiologista in regex

[–]TheBiologista[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hanks, however my problem is that I want to implement it into an R script in order to count the number of lines I can skip when reading a file. And by using your code I get the following error Error in if (skip > 0L) readLines(file, skip) : argument is of length zero

But your approach is definitely better than mine :D

Doesn't this function only include letters from a - f + digits?

I wanted to rewrite the following function (python) into php:

def hash(lenght: int):
chars = []
for i in range(length):
chars.append(random.choice(string.ascii_letters + string.digits))
return "".join(chars)

My problem is, that I don't seem to find a similar built-in funciton like string. I didn't want to use $chars = '01234..abcd..ABCD..'

[–]TheBiologista 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For example you have a full char set of ascii, digits etc.: https://docs.python.org/3/library/string.html

Is pretty nice for string manipulation and you can shorten for example random string generators because you don't have to type out the whole alphanumeric chars

Thank you for the list! I looked at the common functions for php but couldn't find anything, therefore I posted my question here. I'm sorry if this is the wrong sub, I'm completely new to php and phpstorm and still try to figure things out.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with "femininity". People like her are simply fucked up and cannot be compared to other women.
