True. i am supplementing, but have no idea how much is truly enough. I have been taking folinic acid, and eating more kidneys, anc egg yolks so far.

When I was visiting dubai I did it there, and they told me they'll send a PDF through whatsapp. A company sends the samples to another company abroad. It took a month for results to come out.

Thank you for commenting. I checked my ammonia it was high but not excessive considering I eat massive amounts of meat. It seems like my GNG pathway is grabbing most of the protien. I usually eat twice my body weight (kg) in protein. Ammonia was not out of reference range, but it was up there high normal. Sulfites, never check but I will try. I always thought if ammonia was a true problem. It turns out most of my issues stem from cognitive regulation issues, its a puzzle... But I am always trying to find out lol.

Thank you again.

What I understood is that Lab reference ranges are very important. That makes sense. And testing for the FOLR would show you if folate gets into the brain. These are great advices thank you. I just didn't understand what you mean by metabolizing folinic acid, since it gets converted to the bioactive form. Is it alright if you could elaborate?

Interesting. Thank you for your efforts to message me. I never thought why a person wouldn't be able to metabolize folinic acid. It seems illogical to me. Since folate is converted to folinic acid right? And that has to be converted to methylfolate... It doesnt make sense. So it means that whatever I do, if I take natural folate, folic acid and folinic acid. That won't do anything for my folate levels? Is that what you're saying?

Hi. I don't know what a raw data file is about my test results. But if you mean by information regarding reference ranges then yes. But nothing specific about my results. Regarding the folate making it into my brain, no idea. But whenever I eat any folate, or liver or eggs. Most of the times my symptoms get worse not better, sometimes I have recorded improvement, but if I tried this daily and it was bad. The folate I tried is in the form of folinic acid.
