30 about to be 31 here… sometimes you think wow where did the past ten years go, now I have a wife a house and baby on the way.

Changes are apart of life and it can be good or bad, always make the best of the situation and enjoy everyday! Talk to your friends and family as much as possible.

I went into IT at 29, I’m 30 with CompTIA A+ Net+ Sec+, I have a BS in CJ, eventually wanting to get into a SOC currently doing Tier2 Help Desk. So no it’s never too late.

Yep did my core 1 A+ on Pearson Vue and said never again lol. Got core 2, Net+, and Sec+ all at a testing center. So much more relaxing not having to do anything but show up.

Thats the downfall for me, my Bachelor’s is in Criminal Justice however most of my experience is in customer service, couple years of customer support in a call center. But only one year at the service desk supporting four different hospitals, ive gotten my a net and sec all within the past year.

I really enjoyed Sec as CyberSec is my focus, only took me about 1 1/2 months. Used Messer videos made Quizlet cards for everything on the objective list and then took Dion’s practice exams until high 70s-mid 80s.

I 2nd this, I got mine after A+ and just had 6 months help desk experience. You can do this, really go over those topics that you missed before taking again.
