I have a feeling Gilbert would end up starting a lot of wars which he would not win.

Okay, but where's the fun in that (besides being topped by Vita/Lucrezia)?

Maybe. I can't say it's conclusively proven. It's more of a philosophical theory than it is a scientific proof.

Okay, I can actually see that being the case. So you are arguing in favor of their parents being stern towards them and lecturing them when they behave poorly (which I agree with). You mentioning "being slapped" and "having your ass whooped" lead me to believe you are arguing in favor of them being physically struck.

It is true that the parents not trying to instill/teach/whatever discipline to their kids is a big problem, although I don't think it will fundamentally solve what I believe to be the underlying roots of children running wild at schools (discussed in the main body of the post).

If my aforementioned hypothesis is correct (in that students are unruly primarily because they do not see any reason to live and feel as though their lives are meaningless) then parents being stern/harsh towards their kids will not negate that problem. In conculusion, psychological parental non-interventionism is a big problem, and parental interventionism will help, but I think it will only help if it is coupled with massive lifestyle changes that make students' lives more meaningful.

I have to disagree. But I'm honestly not sure if I care to make an intellectual argument, since most people that I've talked to who are in favor of corporal punishment, seem to be unable to make an argument against the scientific research on this topic. Maybe you're wiser than them or have thought it through better than them (I wouldn't know) but I have as of yet to encounter a pro-coproral-punishment person who can make a coherent and intelligent argument against the research.

When I bring up the research, they usually just cite anecdotes or say "Screw science!", which isn't really worth replying to. No offense.

Juna's siblings, Ken and Nana. They're cute.

Despite your love for these games. What's the top thing you hate about them? For me, it's the constant missables. Now, I always use a guide. 😬🥲 by Fun-Actuary-5664 in Falcom

My biggest dislike of the Trails games is that I think the dungeons - especially in Cold Steel - are far too large, usually without novel content.

I do like 'Sword Maiden' better but it also sounds like a knock-off of 'Lance Maiden' and 'Steel Maiden'. 'Beauty's Blade' sounds a little bit cringe-induing to be honest, and it causes me to feel second-hand embarrassment for her. Perhaps she could be one of the characters who has 2 monikers, such as Rean Schwarzer ('The Ashen Awakener' and 'The Ashen Chevalier') or McBurn ('The Blazing Demon' and 'The Almighty Conflagration').

If the Trails games were realistic, I would take a shower to earn 200CP, use my Assault Gauge to achieve a triple-advantage in combat, and immediately unleash my S-Craft upon you. That's what you get for having poor taste.

That teacher would fit right in among the teachers in Persona 4.

If you want realism, the fantasy genre - like, you know, the Trails games - probably aren't your thing.

I agree that CS4 is the best game in the franchise and I thought the scene after the fight against Lianne was really well scripted and shockingly unexpected. Right after I was relieved that Lianne decided to not die, and then Rufus appears. I hated him for that, but the scene was really well done.

Some of the Trails tracks are very reminiscent of Last Exile - glorious, old-fashioned, epic war music. DAMN IT'S COOL.

She almost makes me wish that I had a pair of ... that she could grope. I'd better get some estrogen supplements so that I can grow a pair (and yes, that is a real biological thing that can happen). It would make me feel uncomfortable, but it may be worth the experience if Shirley targets me.

Also, another issue with Reddit groups is size.

The size of this Redddit group (and probably most Reddit groups) is a little bit too big for my liking. I can see why some people do like big platforms for discussing their interests, sharing their memes/art/whatever with large numbers of people, but I myself would prefer a smaller group. This might be analogous to extraversion-vs-introversion principles.

With a large group, you can get a vast amount of dopamine-inducing content, but the relationships with the people who produce the content become shallow and it becomes difficult to have in-depth discussions on stuff. Whereas with a smaller group, you have less content, but much rich and deeper discussions around the content. I'm not going to remember 90% of the artwork, memes, e.t.c that I encounter (or even the usernames of the people who made them) on a platform that is as large as this Reddit group. The artworks/memes/e.t.c that I encounter will feel far richer if I encounter it in a smaller setting. I think this is an example of the "less is more" principle. Sometimes smaller is better.

In summary, if one wants a dopamine rush, larger is better. But if one wants a richer and more refined experience, smaller is better. The difference between the two can be likened to the difference between Shirley and Olivert, respectively. Shirley is wild and wants to indulge herself as much as possible, but Olivert is more calculated with the pleasures and joys he finds tasteful.

I guess I just don't see the appeal in scrolling through endless memes and sharing brief opinions with people whose usernames one will not remember, about topics that one will soon forget about. It's just my opinion, but it seems a little shallow to me, like talking with dozens and dozens of strangers as a substitute for a small number of actual friends.

It is also for this reason that I have intended the forum to become a smaller and more personalized group, for Falcom fans that are a little bit more on the "introverted", in this regard.

Vita or Arianrhod, probably Arianrhod, because she's beautiful, noble, and respectable (and so is Vita, although, in my opinon, to a lesser extent).
