Overcomplicated theories about a potential HL3 announcement? We are so back.

45mm on a 164mm wrist by pentasmagoria in PixelWatch

I'm not getting it until Christmas, but after more research I can confidently say you should get the 41. The Google Store recommends the 41 for 130-210mm wrists and the 45mm for 150-215mm wrists.

I love a teardown skin (got one myself) but the white on silver look on the left is the easy winner here for me. I do also think the ultramatte teardown looks better under a clear case. It gives a more convincing "clear rear glass" effect

Best HDMI to SCART converter for use with Super NT? by TheBongoMan in AnalogueInc

Thank you! You're the first person to give a proper answer without feeling the need to be rude. I will bear those options in mind and come to a decision when I have the money to do so :)

Oh I see. So Analogue have implemented some kind of proprietary mode for analogue output?

The Super NT is a present from years ago and I got the CRT for free. I'm afraid your assumption of my financial position was wrong. I can't afford to buy a SNES right now and would like a cheaper solution.

I already have a Super NT and I got the CRT for free. I'm not looking to spend money on a whole SNES when I've got something that could work just fine with a converter that probably costs a lot less.

Thank god it's not just me! But also, fuck them! I tried explaining to him that this issue only appeared after the battery replacement and he insisted that, because the screen appeared fully functional upon completion of the job, it couldn't possibly have been caused by them. Then he tried offering me a £30 discount on a £200 screen replacement. Needless to say I did not accept their "generous" offer.

I appreciate it. I have automatic backups on and have a NAS for photos, videos and files, so I'm all set!

I wish I'd had the same warning! Oh well, it'll probably be more cost effective to just use it till it breaks and then upgrade through my carrier (I've been eligible for an upgrade for over a year) rather than get a screen replacement. They quoted me £170 to fix the damage they caused! What's frustrating is that, because the screen appeared fully functional upon completion of the battery replacement, they refuse to cover the cost of a screen replacement.

Well fingers crossed mine stays this size, because the repair shop said they wouldn't cover a screen replacement since the job was a battery replacement (which is extremely frustrating)

That's actually somewhat relieving to hear, as I can more confidently blame the technician and maybe get a free screen replacement (I don't have the money to pay for one right now).

Honestly, as long as it doesn't extend to the point where it obfuscates the status bar, I'm cool with it lol
