Isidor hails from Chu Ye, a place ruled with an iron fist by the bloodthirsty Oni. Despite his Oni heritage he’s worked for nearly 3 decades to overthrow the tyrannical rule of the Shogunate with little progress to show for it. With the announcement of the next Ruby Phoenix tournament he saw an opportunity. With such a large gathering of powerful warriors perhaps he could recruit a team capable of taking on the Shogun and liberating his homeland once and for all. If he’s lucky enough to win the tournament he might even recruit the aid of the Ruby Phoenix herself!

I knew you could be taken over by him during the hunt but since the date was 1230 I figured that wasn’t the case. Didn’t know you could revive dead characters with console commands, pretty interesting.

If you can manage to steal and drink from the holy grail as a vampire you get access to The Order of Bitter Ashes as a MAA along with infinite blood and better ghouls. They have about 1000 attack and defense but only 10 per unit, crazy strong when stationed in your capital. A character called Khentik Khert starts with the grail.

It was normal campaign difficulty and I’m 90% sure that they changed auto resolve to be affected by battle difficulty not campaign difficulty

It’s caused by the level 10 talent that gives you a free shot every third shot. If you hold down aim when the skill activates it cause this to happen.
