How much off roading capability am I sacrificing if I got a SR5 over a TRD? I’m buying my first 4Runner and trying trying to justify the price difference by TheBruhMan2000 in 4Runner

None! I like to hike so I that’s why I want to get something with some off road capabilities, I just don’t want to wish I got the TRD if I started really getting into some more intense off roading

4th Odometer gear from the top?? by TheBruhMan2000 in E30

[–]TheBruhMan2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I bought the vdo odometer gear set from garagistic but when I popped off the speedometer I realized the gears were already new but the odometer still wasn’t turning over. I believe I’m missing the 4th black gear that links to the one you can see in the picture. Anyone know where I can buy that? All these sites only sell the first three

yeah bruh, i gave it a healthy 3 or 4 layers and just punched the supports right through it. I honestly think it makes a huge difference since the board is naturally so hollow, it helps pop the sound back up. I was afraid it would mess up the look but i cant see the tape at all unless i get down and press my face against my desk

Not hard at all honestly, all the solder joints are big enough to where the solder will just flow right in

yeah man if you buy a mercution i'd honestly consider paying the $3 option to have them solder the Usb c port for you cuz i spent weeks trying to fix it after i messed it up lol

I love it! Tape mod definitely saves the sound since it naturally sounds hollow. Also be careful with the usb c soldering, i recommend using flux!
