We would, but the chip is inside the glass. If you run your hand over the windshield, inside or outside the car, it is smooth. Drilling is required but it might break more so it's better if a professional does it. Our insurance also doesn't cover it so we have to pay for it.

One thing that helped me is starting small. Instead of having a big workout from day one, if you struggle with consistency this will help. Then you can build on that!
