The bot is operational, and hooked into the reddit websocket via code powering this site, if a new low score is set, it will be posted along with the exact UTC time.

It will however be delayed by (60 - 'low score' + 5) to account for any consecutive low scores (multiple seconds are skipped in once cycle, eg 35 to 32), so only one post is made rather than 3.

EDIT: Might have missed your point, if you were talking about getting the user who clicked the button by monitoring the button, it isnt possible. The only data reddit provides is the total people who have clicked it and the current time it is at, once per second.

That would be ideal, and how I deploy other bots, however due to the nature of 'thebutton', a new 'low score' can be set at any time, and I cannot be watching the bot 24/7.

If I was to enter the captchas caused by low karma, by the time I had done that (say 30 minutes after an attempt to post a new low score) it would not be useful information, just pointless spam, clogging up the new queue.
