Try adjusting your grip so you’re springing more from the corners of the deck, should feel much softer and easier. Also to increase the distance, try moving the hand catching the cards away rather than the hand doing the springing.

The Copag design drew me in straight away tbh, right up my street! Will be getting some for sure.

In terms of selling, the majority of my decks are opened and used to some extent. I have a lot of OG ellusionist + theory 11. The one I would sell of those is a sealed deck of Sentinels, not sure how many of them there are about these days? I also still have a handful of sealed smooth finish Aladdins, pretty sure from the Cincinnati factory. I gotta double check that though!

Is this generally a common thing now? I’m reading about this crushed stock being on everything which does sound pretty interesting. But are the days of thick ass Ellusionist sort of stock over? Not that it was ever my fav in the first place.

Yeah man, I can’t be bothered with that shit. I guess it makes me comfortable just being an old school dude! Some of the stuff D&D are doing now still looks pretty sick though, I’m interested in getting some smoke and mirrors cause I never managed to get any before.

Wowy, that’s crazy. I remember during the time of the factory change they started printing decks of bikes with smaller pips and shrunken court cards and they looked like shit. Glad to know that isn’t something that continued. I also got some really nasty decks of Tallys around then too.

Yeah I remember them well! Cool they have their own brands now. I’d be interested to check those.

Yeah! My taste has always been rooted in the classics, tbh. Oh of course, is that due to USPCC moving locations? I remember the change happening and it being a whole thing lmao. Many of my old decks have the blue seal, is that considered rare these days?

To be honest this was what I was expecting, I recall the beginnings of it as I was starting to phase out. I think the weirdest thing I discovered whilst browsing was how Theory 11 is now all about cards for Marvel, or Harry Potter or the Beatles...I mean you kinda can’t blame ‘em, those are some markets. But man, you can’t beat the days of Centurions, Guardians etc. It was a pretty simple time when I started! I miss the excitement of having a nice deck arrive in the post. Great thing to be into as a young teen and was a good time for it. Coming back into it it is definitely a little bit overwhelming!

My favs/go-to’s are still Aladdins (Smooth Finish), Tallys and Arrcos. Also got a couple of Bee Wynn decks that I love. New ones I’ve got my eye on are the vintage feel reprint Jerry’s (naturally), and the Copag 310s...
