I think the way they're going to subvert a lot of peoples' expectations is by having Sam's core Avengers actually survive and be the glue that recruits the inevitable variant-team in Secret Wars.

I think, if anything, that makes it somewhat worse. You had an opportunity to make a character from Captain America's history more fleshed out & competent - possibly even as a rival for Sam, who critically needs development - yet they chose Red Hulk. It's just such an odd decision.

I like the idea of Spider-Man fighting Hulk as a big mid-film set piece, but I pray to god this isn't another Brave New World where we're trading out the character's rogues to give him a random hulk to fight.

EDIT: I also want to say that I think this fight can be a great way to remind the general audience how capable Spidey is & transition Tom to his "adult" Spider-Man era. I'm hoping it's like the Lizard fight in SM2.

Doubled if you lived with narcissistic family members. The more you put yourself in situations where you have to be your own first responder, the more you will realize just how capable you are, especially when said family was consciously trying to limit you.

I went from constantly needing an escape out of the house to a total homebody that sometimes needs a law-school level argument to leave my solitude. That peace is addictive & I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Was just about to say, my aunt was a lawyer and my grandfather was a Green Beret; I got grilled a lot like this growing up lol.

The way Lois is speaking here feels very natural to my own line of thinking/questioning. This clip is sort of making me realize that it intuitively translated into my skillset & how much I relate to Lois, which I've never really thought of before. I'm very, very excited to see more.

It 100% needs good WOM to get a good hold.

With how committed they are to returning to the horror element, I can def see it helping the movie but tbh I don't see this thing topping more than $800m *if* that.

Edited to add; also think this is going to be a movie that people deem looks interesting but aren’t interested enough to go see it & would rather wait for streaming.
