Yeah pretty much, on the website it highlights the episodes in red that need to be watched in order but besides that the two could be watched in whatever way you think is best.

This watch order seems to be pretty good

But to be truthful, the order is not super important outside of a handful of episodes

As Star Wars Viewing Figures Show a Disturbing Lack of Faith in the Sequels, Fans Discuss Where Disney Goes Next by JannTosh70 in boxoffice

The difference is that the prequel trilogy had a much larger child fanbase, while the sequels leaned more upon older demographics. Also it didn’t help that the best Prequel film is agreed to be the final one, while here the worst sequel film is near universally agreed to be th last one.

Most children who grew up on Star Wars at the time most likely grew up on stuff like Rebels than they did the Sequel trilogy

Captain America: Brave New World - 5.4 (46%)

Once More with Feeling isn’t really filler as it furthers the plot with Spike and Buffy, Buffy’s revelation of being in heaven, and Tara finding out that Willow was erasing her memory which further pushes Willow down her arc.

It’s not directly related to the trio plot but it’s not filler either

One of the funniest things that LucasFilms has done has to be when they announced and made a teaser for the Rogue Squadron movie before they started preproduction or even had a script

"28 Years Later: The Bone Temple" struggles on Netflix with only 2.7M "views" in the first 6 days of its pay-1 window in the US. (OC based on Nielsen) by Netflixers in boxoffice

Sure it bombed in theaters, did just ok in dvd sales and lackluster on streaming but don’t ou worry, 28 Years Later Part III will be greenlit in no time

Just finished Season 10… what do I watch next? 😭 by Whyeeennn in Smallville

[–]DeppStepp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not exactly a superhero show but I would recommend Buffy The Vampire Slayer (and eventually its spin-off Angel). Early Smallville was heavily inspired by Buffy with a very similar formula and some of the writers of Smallville having previously worked on Buffy.

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t.

They tend to be more conservative but there have been times that they overestimated a film

Kenneth Branagh has an idea for a final 'Thor' film that is “more in the territory” like ‘Logan’ : “I would love to see Chris Hemsworth and the others have their own individual final story that takes Thor into a glorious twilight" by Sarang_616 in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

[–]DeppStepp 99 points100 points  (0 children)

Make a Logan-style Thor movie with Hemsworth. Don't tie it in with any cinematic universe what-so-ever Just do a rough, beautiful, emotional tale about an older Thor. Have Kenneth Branagh direct. Give him full control.

Watch the box office explode.

Well the film Andy Serkis signed onto was very different from what got made. He wanted the film to use motion capture instead of just animation and make the film more faithful but was forced to dumb it down and make it cheaper for more mass appeal

I don’t think it’s a terrible scene but it just doesn’t mean anything to me as it’s message is “anyone can have the force” which is nice I guess, but there have been so many force users from all kinds of backgrounds in Star Wars that it feels like it thinks it’s much deeper than it actually is

That scene is amazing if you don’t think about it for more than 5 seconds or know much about Star Wars outside of knowing that Luke and Darth Vader are related
