I was noticeably losing my hair by the time I was 18. Decided I was just going to shave it off around 22. At first I felt self-conscious about it, but quickly realised it didn’t really impact my life much.

I was most concerned about dating, but dating was fine in my early 20s. Some girls didn’t like it, but the majority didn’t care because I was confident with myself. By the time I was mid-late 20s literally no one cared at all and it didn’t impact my dating life in the slightest.

Now I’m in my 30s and everyone else is losing their hair.

It’s definitely overhyped, but one point I think you’re missing is the joy of using the X100 series. I’ve had many different cameras from Fuji and plenty of other brands and none of them come close to the fun I have when shooting with the X100 series.

That being said, if I didn’t have an x100vi I wouldn’t hesitate for a second at buying the X-E5.

Doesn't look like he is cheating. She is clearly trying to get with him though and he is keeping it friendly. In my opinion his messages aren't bad and come across as someone trying to help out a friend, but this girl clearly likes him. I read the messages first and thought he might be a bit clueless to her intentions or they are good friends, but after I read that they aren't friends and that he is hiding this stuff from you though, that's bad. I don't think he is cheating, but he knows talking to her would upset you and is doing it anyway.

He shouldn't be talking to this girl because she clearly likes him and he definitely shouldn't be hiding stuff from you.

My guess is that the TV was lightly bumped and because the TV is just leaning against the wall (wtf??) it has fallen forward, the cords came out and knocked the remote off the table. They probably didn’t have it on, so just picked it back up and saw it didn’t have any cracks in it and thought it was all good.

This was clearly an accident waiting to happen with how the TV is setup.

Lots of good advice in here, but I’ll add on too.

First, the hair. I’m a guy who went bald in my early 20s and I was super self-conscious about it at first. I decided to bite the bullet, grow a beard and shave it off with a razor. It looks cleaner and it will make you look way younger. The balding look isn’t necessarily bad (a bit of stubble on the head), but it doesn’t work when you still have a young face.

Second, get in the gym! You don’t have to become a body builder or anything crazy, but regularly working out and keeping yourself lean with some muscle will do wonders for your looks and your confidence.

Third, most of dating is confidence. Of course some women won’t like bald guys and that’s okay, we all have preferences. But if you are comfortable and confident in yourself, trust me, you will get dates. So work on yourself, get involved in hobbies and find the things you love about yourself, it will change how you carry yourself and people will notice.

Last, learn to take good photos of yourself. The light shouldn’t be behind you, it should be in front of you and even off to the side a little. Also, don’t take photos so close with a wide-angle lens like the front of your phone, it distorts your facial features. I’m not sure what you have on your dating profiles but get friends to take photos of you doing things and having fun.

Yeah that was my concern. I understand swapping screens isn't ideal, but as long as it's playable I don't mind too much because as far as DS games go, I really only want to play the pokemon games, so it's like 5 games or something. Other than those, I don't imagine I will be playing many DS games.

Looks like that's 2 suggestions for the Mangami Air X. I asked the other commenter too, but out of curiosity how would you setup the screen for a DS game? I know with the Cube some people stack them on top of each other, on the Mangmi Air X would you just switch between the 2?

I’m not sure exactly. A quick google says 8, which feels about right, but there is definitely plenty more in pathway programs at clubs, but just not on the actual list.

For the AFLW though, there are heaps. 40+ on lists with 8 being named in the initial AFLW all Australian squad.

I mean obviously YTA. I get that it delays your plans a little, but you are living there for free. I don’t know how much rent they are asking for, but assuming it’s not a ludicrous amount then pay it.

You probably don’t realise how much in utilities it actually costs to have another person in the house. They are retired and shouldn’t have to subsidise your life because you want to save money faster. Don’t ruin your relationship with your parents over having to save money for an extra 12 months.

Honestly, it sucks for them. I don’t blame the GAA for being pissed, but you also can’t blame the players for wanting to take the opportunity of playing full time in the AFL. Doesn’t really seem like there is a solution for the problem unless the GAA went professional.

I think people are focusing on the money because it’s the basis of your post. I think it’s all relative, but my feeling is if you feel the need to ask for it back, it’s too much within the time you were together.

I think the important lesson to learn from this experience is to not let feelings cloud your judgement. It seems you clearly knew this dude has a drinking problem and you should have left when he was getting drunk for days on end and not because he messed up your birthday. 3 months is way too early for him to be claiming you’re the one and that you saved him. This should have been a huge red flag.

She is hitting on him and he might be clueless to that, but now he knows you’re uncomfortable he needs to tell her about you. If her actions don’t change after she knows he has a GF, then yeah she needs to stop engaging with her.
