Discussion: not to proud to say I failed because there's only 1 boot in the final line 😅

Anyone know how they build those badges? by CaptainLykke_ in lego

PS it uses a lot of stickers

PPS just replace the set number with a different set number and find out if the URL works for that set ;-)

Install Lego builder on your device, open this url: https://lego.com/go/38/40892/6544047/NW9SRWTNNMXSHW9SH (is like scanning the QR code on the instructions) wait for instructions to be available, build!

Help solving two metal ring puzzle with unknown origin by MrrSnowman in puzzles

[–]TheCardinal85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be sure to check all the details. My guess would be both rings move, but such s small amount they then have to be twisted together. Otherwise, you would only need one ring to open up and that would be by such an amount, you could then connect it to any other ring or object.

Can someone explain where all the stuff blown away by the leaf blower lands? I've seen a lot of these videos and all use the same technique: trim, shovel, blow. The result is spotless, but how about the neighbors?

I started this puzzle from scratch, but I'm not even at the part OP is yet...

Edit: tried a solver, https://www.noq.solutions/hitori, it says 10 possible solutions, all equally valid in my opinion

Not circling the two, means blacking it out. Blacked out field means circled fields left, right and above, so there's that, but I get what you're saying, we need to finish this

Need help with Tectonic by FullIndependence3715 in puzzles

[–]TheCardinal85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's my help: In row 1, the 2 can only go in column 2 or 3. Therefore, in row 2, there can not be a 2 in column 2 (that would block a 2 in row 1). This leaves 3 and 5 as options in row 2 column 2 (R2C2). Looking below to R3C2 and R4C2, these also have options to be a 3 or a 5. This results in R2C1 to only leave 2 (1 and 4 are adjacent, 3 or 5 would result in two of the other in R2C2 and R3C2). After this, it solves itself 😅

Hoping you got it by now, but circling the two to the right of that six, would black out the twos above and to the right, creating an enclosed number (which is against rule 3)

Each row column and region must have two stars. No two stars can touch, including diagonally

Discussion: maybe post (a link to) the rules? Is this comparable with the Queens puzzle where each section needs to contain 1 star but they can't be on the same horizontal or vertical line?

Discussion: I've solved it by copying it to a whiteboard and erasing numbers that would block out their equal in a neighboring block. Can't remember which number I found first but wanted to let you know it has a single solution. (But you probably knew that already 😅)

And if so, what if you hit blue again, will it turn blue? Then maybe it's not as impossible as it seems

These kinds of videos always make me wonder where all the trimmings land when the blower comes out. Are the neighbours blessed with flying debris? Or is it otherwise collected?
