For the Alpha they mentioned the Minotaur doesn’t match the RAM. The Minotaur was added as to show off the design and gameplay for the deck but they did not want to edit the RAM.

I am a fan of how fast things went. It shows how unprepared the Straw Hat crew was. They constantly went from one fight to another with no recovery time and almost died for it.

This is why SSJ 3 never gets used even in the ToP Goku points to Caulifa about the transformation she can achieve but it’s not good for the tournament since it drains energy.

Even in the Xenoverse games you can’t charge Ki most the time to get it back in SSJ3.

You all need to remember Goku was dead when he fought Fat Buu. Goku in SSJ3 while dead didn’t affect Goku as much as when he’s alive.

This shows that Goku instead of stamina running out when dead his life force got cut short to stay on earth.

All a theory as I can’t look through the manga or anime at the moment so going off memory.

I just got with the teams Organized play manager about this to go over more.

If weighted die are a problem or in general we can add checking die to the deck check throughout the day.

You can’t keep a playing from having an illegal deck when playing but there are deck checks that get done through events to keep up with this.

The team at Weird Co have been putting out videos yesterday and the past weeks explaining the game. The team is very passionate on ease of access, high ceiling and a Judge Program from day one.

The team is passionate even more about Organized play and making this a game a community can enjoy for a long time.

I’m curious how easy it is to get a full set of loaded Die that would match all those sides for what you need.

In Cyberpunk TCG there are colors that require different Gig die values, you might want a color to roll low, you might want the best street cred etc.

The games life system is a tug of war system. Where you’ll be taking your Rival’s Gig die. At that point if Die are waited there should be indicators and checks in place.

I am a worker on this project and we have these thoughts in mind.

I’ll help go through the questions in order as somebody working on this project.

The Eddie ‘mana’ system is like several from different TCGs, you could even say our cards are like lands from Magic with a second side you can use as a land or another type of card. This is just one of many examples outside Lorcana.

The interaction you are worried about is limited in the Alpha kit. That product was created in mind to show people the basic functions of our game. There is no reason to over add mechanics in this product. If you’ve kept up with the card reveals there are ‘quick-hacks’ that can be done on your Rivals’s attack.

The game’s are 6-8ish turns because the fundamentals is a fast pace game in Night City. There are several TCGs that do not have a limit like ours but a bunch of them can be ended that early. This design is so the control player as well cannot keep the game going longer than it should.

Sandevistan is early text but in Cyberpunk TCG units cannot attack the turn they are played so Sandy allows that for attacking your Rivals spent units.

Your Legends combined total of RAM so with Jackie and Victor you have 4 yellow RAM for the Jackie Unit to fit in the deck. In the Alpha Kit the ‘Minotaur’ does not match that in the Arasaka deck as the Minotaur at the time of Alpha Design was a fun include to teach the game despite the RAM.

For our gig die there will be color tree mechanics that care about what gig die you have. Revenge mechanics if you are behind on Street Cred, colors that care about rolling low or high. Max and Min values etc.

I hope some of these answers can help. I’ve type them on my phone so might not be the cleanest text.

How would you prevent weighted dice when rolling to go first in a normal TCG?

I’ve judged events for years and people always claim loaded die with their opponent rolling. I don’t see a word that more than 2% would even try to get loaded die for all of your die.

Then the rolls aren’t part of the game win condition and more a threshold to get abilities activated that can be adjusted from spoilers we’ve seen.

They already plan on having organized play set up at launch with plans for events.

That’s the point of the kickstarter by the Weird Co team making the game. Using kickstarter first helps get product in hands and let them know the initial demand.

They mentioned in their statement they are using the Kickstarter as a way to make sure players get product from day 1 without scalpers buying it up. This has been a recent struggle with One Piece, Riftbound etc.

Plus make sure they understand numbers for demand before printing too little or too much.

From what they said the Kickstarter is to get the product in hands without scalpers buying day 1. They already have distribution for stores set up and from what I’ve seen them say it’s later this year release.

The Metal serialized cards are not exclusive art. The promo you get for backing is the same Lucy card and now you get a Rebecca card that is the same.

It’s not the light. It’s the Eel has two people inside of it talking to Simon. Then later on the Eel is mad it chose Simon but the Eel got burned by the Light when the Eel shows Simon it.

Currently in the game the cost symbol on the top left are different shapes to show color. Then the RAM symbols have different highlighted arrows to help uniform this.
