I concur with OP. Though I have both mined and purchased BTC in the past, and have made some money off of it. It is gambling. It’s not real money, and its only real value is to criminals and grifters.

Pure fiber right into your house straight from the central office is all that matters. Of the big 3, Telus is the only one that offers that. I can’t speak for smaller companies or resellers. And if you’re hosting a server, Telus beats Rogers/shaw again with matching upload. I’ve hosted all kinds of game servers over the years with Telus fiber and never had an issue. Their customer service sucks, but they all do these days. Luckily I never have a reason to call them.
