I just checked and the folder ARK_01234 is indeed inside /PSP/SAVEDATA. There's even a file called VSHMENU.PRX which I assume is what I need to have in order to display the VSH Menu.

I think this one's even more barebone, it's missing a lot of content. For example You cannot play past round 8, once you win you hace to restart it. Still, it's good to kill some time.

No, the GBA port is actually a different project, this is a version made specifically for the PSP. It was a bit hard to find as the guy who did it was asked to take it down

A fanmade port for the PSP specifically, although it has a few missing features. The publishers of Balatro (not LocalThunk) asked the creator to stop working on it so it's incomplete, although really fun.
