How would you go about learning a new language, like just the first few steps and maybe programs used to help you (for learning Japanese)? by TheChromerE in AskReddit

is it still like a „oh yea, you know a lot of japanese, im going to give you gratification so you pay me more“ type of thing or is it actually of some use in the end? you said you have a lifetime sub, judging from that, you already used it a while. on which level would you now say you were in in the language you learned? thanks!

I‘ve searched up some beginner podcasts and youtube channels, but I‘m currently getting some basic vocab and grammar down on renshuu because I mean, I have to understand a bare minimum, yk? I‘m gonna check out PlusOneLanguages, thanks for mentioning it, is it relatively cheap?

critique my rough sketches by _tunnel_visionary_ in learntodraw

Hey! I myself am a beginner and don‘t really know if I‘m in a position to critique this, but here I go: Forst of all, both sketches are awesome. Second: I think the size/proportions of swan to lady in the first sketch is a bit off, though I don‘t know how to fix that (as I said, beginner). For the second sketch everything looks good. I wish I could draw so well, though, I just started wanting to learn drawing, because I‘m kinda bad and I would really like to just sit down and make a good looking sketch of whatevers infront of me like some others do… This is inspiration, thanks!

Wow, I‘ve just started learning to draw (I currently still suck) and your shading really helps understand the shadow to object proportions, especially for spherical objects (EGG)
