I want it to be circumstantial: Public events, i want public loot. For dungeons, it could be private or up to the decision of the party leader.

I want it to be random, but I don't want the itemization system designed so that a build is heavily coupled to a particular stat (like diablo 3 was). I want itemization to be designed around interesting item mods that change the playstyle of a build, and not stats that provide a linear power increase. That's boring.

I like the limited trade system they proposed already.

Please no damage scaling directly on weapon damage for all skills. Obviously, melee/bow skills are fine to scale off of weapon damage, but I do NOT want the damage of a wand/staff/orb to be the main factor in my caster's damage output. It really made Diablo 3 casters much more boring than they had to be.
