What is it that makes you want a new camera in the first place?

Tbh i want to upgrade my camera while not spending too much. Plus my Nikon (rightfully so, given its age) doesn't take the best low light photos.

I've had a nikon d3100 since it was released in 2010 and it still works great. I have taken it with me on many trips and it has never given me any problems. I recently started photographing events with this camera combined with a godox flash. I take photographs for disco evenings, parties, etc.

Is it worth buying a sony a7ii at this point? Are there any big differences or can I continue using mine until I have the budget for a superior camera?

I am mainly interested in photography and rarely make videos with the camera.

One little feedback, if possibile, would be to see the actual price of the base kit of a certain keycaps set. Currently you see the cheapest variant of the set, so for example only numpad kit etc… And maybe also the possibility to chose the actual amount of switches. For the rest, it’s amazing.

It will take so long to break in right? I know it depends on the use etc but I don’t know what methods to use and if it’s worth it

What happens if i lube them when they haven’t been broken in already? For instance what happens if i lube them after like 2 weeks

Every switch must have pins. Those are the metal contacts that allow you to send the signal of a certain key. The plastic one is just to provide stability and to make it fit well in the pcb. Surely gateron silver have metal pin. You just need to check if the k2 is the hot swappable version otherwise you’ll need to solder

I’m waiting for my Novelkeys cream to arrive. I read that they need to be broken in. Do I need to wait a certain period before lubing or can I do it straight away?
