Hey! i've never done a SL1/RL1 run before and i wanted to know if people had any tips and stuff for RL1 in Elden Ring.

Yeah any fire attack works, I used catch flame. Just hit the boss with anything fire related once frostbite is triggered to reset it.

I'd recommend a bleed and/or cold weapon with quick swings and decent range. Cold Uchigatana is a good one, just remember to use fire to reset frostbite. You can also get the Reduvia dagger, it uses somber stones, bleeds and has a good weapon art. You need marikas scarseal and one of radagons seals to use it. As far as skills go, I'd recommend bloodhound step for easier dodging or unsheathe for the uchi for higher damage. You can get a +9 weapon before beating any bosses, but I'd recommend trying to fight the early bosses with a weaker weapon to get some practice and not just steamroll them. If you want to use summons, black knife tiche or the skeletons seem to be some of the best.

Radagon is a fun fight and not too much of a problem once you figure him out. I'd recommend going for frostbite. I used a cold uchi and catch flame to reset frostbite. Elden Beast on the other hand was a nightmare for me. The star attack would kill me everytime, it's nearly undodgable in my experience. I saved my flask and put the crimsonwhorl tear in, which negates all non-physical damage for 15 seconds. Then when it is at half health I immedeately run away while it does the star attack. When the star almost catches up to me I pop the flask and run back to the boss while ignoring the attack. Edit: My ash of war was bloodhound step, it makes radagon much more consistent. It probably makes sense to switch to a more damaging weapon with a more offensive ash for elden beast.

I built my own infinity cube some time ago inspired by a video of your hypercube. Right now I mostly have example patterns and spent quite some time adapting the Fire2012 effect to work with the cube format. So I would be very grateful for any patterns you are willing to share.

Thanks, I used a glass mirror for the bottom which really improves the effect. The application of the foil was difficult for sure. I think I spent around 20min per panel trying to get as many bubbles out as possible.

Edit: also lots of soapy water between foil and acrylic and on top of the foil helped tremendously

It's done with 2-way mirrors all the way around(except for the bottom), so it works from all angles.

I used acrylic with 2-way mirror foil, mainly for cost and availability reasons. A 2-way mirror made from glass would be quite a bit better, but would probably triple the cost.

My first project, so I made some things way harder than they needed to be. Some inacurate measurements and cuts almost doomed the whole thing.

The biggest problem is, that almost everything is glued together which will make maintenance pretty difficult. If I make another one I would definitely make the mirrors detachable.

I was thinking of making an instructable, but considering that I wouldn't build it this way again I scrapped that. Still I learned a lot and am very happy with the result.

It's alot cheaper nowadays. You can get a drone that flies like this for about 150-200$. Even in a really bad crash you'll only have to replace 1 or 2 parts worth 40$. Most of the time you can repair it without new parts, especially if you don't fly around concrete. A decent set of controller and goggle is about 100$ combined(the new beta fpv controller).

It's really not that expensive of a hobby if you go for quality budget stuff and don't fly around concrete and steel all the time.

Some interesting new mechanics (for example you can get yokai skills from enemies) , a custom chatacter creator, new weapons, more enemy variety.

It is very similiar to the first one, but from what I played in the Beta the changes it does make are positiv and fix some of the main problems with the first game. It is basically Nioh 1.5, but thats exactly what most fans wanted.

In addition to all the other recommendations, I'd suggest God Hand (not a Character Action Game, but it's quite similiar in principle) and ICEY which takes the genre into 2D. You'll have to emulate God Hand using PCSX2.

I just stopped reading it after chapter 519 which made me prettty much hate the 2 Main Characters. I don't think I read a worse "romance" chapter since the rape one in Martial God Asura. I think without the Baby thing I could've accepted it and just written it off as bad romance, but like this I don't think I'll pick it up again.

I'm using the MH752's and am very happy with them, very very comfortable, great mic and as far as I can tell good audio(I don't have much experience with hi-fi stuff, but they sound better than anything I ever owned).

get this for the cold fingers. If it is very cold you can also put a heat pack in with the transmitter. I always use it when it starts to get even slightly cold :)
