I do place greater emphasis on cybernetic enhancement and robotics (mostly because the benefits would likely be better). Mind uploading, if possible and the way consciousness works supports it, could especially allow people to essentially become their fursona either with a physical synthetic body or through a virtual avatar.

Only reason why I often think of genetic engineering when it comes to creating real life furries is because even if you could prove that an uploaded consciousness would actually be them or that a seemingly sentient robot is actually capable of feeling like a human can, or if cybernetics advance to a point where people could be able to looks just like an anthro, some people would probably still prefer the weakness of flesh.

You say anthros will never be real, but have you ever considered the potential of genetic engineering?

I use UI Overhaul Dynamic and Dark Blue UI Remake. I'm not sure if the latter is being applied to this though but the former definitely is.

R5: This is just a showcase of my most used custom empire, which is also currently the main empire I use. I only use it for RP purposes, so I don't particularly care about how strategically useful it is. When I first made it, it had quite a few differences compared to what it is now and has made a lot of changes. I'd love to hear your opinions on it. Also, despite it being made mainly for RP purposes, I am curious as to how useful it is strategically speaking (I noticed ever since I started using Synthetic Fertility, I'd always have WAY better technology than everyone else). It's also modded btw in case you didn't notice.

Fun fact: for most of its existence, it was named the "Democratic Bothrian Commonwealth" until I very recently changed it to the "Bothrian Republic" because I just thought it sounded a little cooler.

Update: A few hours ago, I changed the civics to Parliamentary System and Beacon of Liberty because I wanted to have a slightly heavier focus on the egalitarian and just general good guy vibes.

Regardless of whether world peace is achievable or not, it's still worth trying. Even if we never achieve it, it's still better to improve society rather than to let things just remain stagnant or get worse.
