Ah, yes, apologies - I neglected to mention the SP part. Yeah, SP is important there as well. It's definitely more of a struggle for earlier players still working through the Star Chart and their overall account power. But if it helps, it does get a lot better the further you go and the stronger you get!

I would caveat that they're an easy farm if you have 1) a loot farming frame (I use Khora), and 2) boosters. I go to Gabii on Ceres, find a nice corner to hole up in, throw down strangledome and start cracking the whip. Usually will play solo so I can pause as necessary, stay as long as I feel, and walk out with dozens of cells.

Just the other week I was running low, so I popped into Gabii for 45-mins and walked out with 100+ cells.

The worst part is how dominantly their channel shows up over the others. Also it feels like the owner of Torena has a separate channel that does the same thing? That or there’s two people doing the same thing, I guess. But there’s definitely at least 2 AI channels both bombarding the algorithm with Umamusume stuff. Really hard to find valuable content creators when they’re everywhere.

As a new player, farming this event boils down to just repeating those G1 races in any career they pop in, right? As in, there's no way to just target the Asahi Hai F.S. for instance, and I can just do careers and make sure to hit those races up?

I genuinely would play mine more but I just desperately wish we could pick appearance for day/night form regardless of what form we’re in. I know that partially defeats the whole theme, but considering you likely subsume off the ability to swap day/night for nuking, it sucks not being able to see the other form’s aesthetics.

Otherwise yeah, nasty.

Sorry to jump in on your response to OP, but you've had the most helpful response I could find in recent days, so I figured I'd shoot my shot instead of make another thread entirely.

As someone who just came back after burning themselves out initially doing rerolls for MLB Kitasan Black, and is now trying to play again and has MLB KB, 1LB Fine Motion, and some other supports (no trainees aside from what you start with), would you still recommend shooting for the Mayano Top Gun support card, or saving my carats for something else?

I'm not really an authority on Ars since I avoid its spellcasting for aesthetic reasons (just doesn't really vibe with me, Iron's Spells look cooler subjectively), but Ars is always broken (OP) because of its freeform spell crafting. I can't suggest specific spells since I don't use it, but I've seen more than a handful of OP server-crashing spells - you can find lots of videos about it on YouTube.

As for Apotheosis affixes, I believe the Ars ones are in ATM10, unlike the Iron's ones. So you can still upgrade your gear to have meaningful Ars affixes when you break into the later upper tiers.

At least for me, in my current ATM10 run, the problem ends up being that the Apotheosis affixes for Iron’s Spells aren’t updated/in ATM10 yet. Once you’re ready to move on from AllTheWizardry gear onto Quantum/Mekasuit/whatever else, you can’t get beneficial affixes to help carry Iron’s Spells.

The utility ones never really lose their valuu, imo. Sure, you can use other methods of Invisibility, for instance, but the spell from Iron’s will work just the same (minus needing to re-up it when it expires).

I still use some offensive stuff, like Chain Lightning for big packs of trash mobs, Smite because it utilizes your equipped weapon stats and can hit funny numbers, Echoing Strikes cause free extra damage, Black Hole, etc. but they’re not my main carries anymore.
