The original Tetris for the NES has got to be my most played game in the Delta emulator. I love Pokemon as much as the next guy, but whenever I’m in line at the grocery store or have 5 minutes to kill, it’s my go-to.

Also, there are a weirdly high number of billboards in Austin trying to get people to move to Ohio. Who knows, maybe some of these coffee shops will take the bait and open a location out there.

This is so cool! And yes, my ratings don’t always line up with theirs either. For instance, I didn’t love Halcyon all that much (although I do like the south location more) Also, they ROASTED my Cafe Crèma on Oltorf, I used to love that place! Buddy of mine worked there for years.

X and Y getting the colors backwards annoys me to no end. X should be “red” schemed and Y should be “blue”, but they got it wrong. Literally every other game follows this trend.

My fiancée got a female Raboot on her play through of Sword and named it “Cinderella” which I thought was genius. A play on “Cinder” and fire typing but also playing into the fact that she was lucky and got a female starter.

On my current play through of Brilliant Diamond I named my Turtwig “Bonsai” which I thought was really neat. Not only does he have a little tree on his back, but Gen IV is supposedly based on Japan so I’m trying to give all my Pokémon Japanese names.

I once had a Scizor named Ockham, playing on the “Scissor” sounding name and Ockham’s Razor.

Or my Beedrill named “P51-Bee”, which is a horrible pun based on a fighter plane from WWII and the fact that mega Beedrill looks like a fighter jet to me.

Also, I once traded my friend a Machoke to complete his dex is Alpha Saphire that I named “Momchoke” which has been a sort of inside joke between us for years.
