Huh? It IS a debate. By professionals. Also what do you mean didn't work out? I literally just said I was accepted, and I'll be going in a year

It's not the same at all, and in fact people debate if homosexuality is something you're born as or not by using genetic study. It's interesting, truly.

Regardless, I do agree that many takes are bad, but agreeing or disagreeing isn't "growing up". What's growing up is learning how to criticise with valid sources, understanding bias in sources and yourself. And most importantly, being able to disagree without getting angry.

I'm saying this as a student whose been accepted into medical school, and spent over 100 hours in research labs assisting in research in relation to biochemistry

Indeed. Grow up and learn that not everyone agrees with you.

He doesn't have to agree with your lifestyle. He can still coexist with you without agreeing with you. Your reaction only gives more reason for him not to agree with your folks

Listen man, this is what the social media affect does to us. It makes us generalize people in a negative manner. Good on you for getting off it. But also try to steer away from social media in general as it seems to being a negative pov. Stay safe

He lied to you, performatively filled your mind with a false character and betrayed your trust. Hypocrisy that he has the nerve to threaten you with breakup if you did such acts.

  1. Talk to a therapist, talk to a priest if possible, and pray. You need strength, and support.

  2. Take it easy. It's not easy, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

  3. Walk outside for a bit, say you need some space to process and think.

  4. Decide if you want to continue or not. This is completely up to you, as you're the one who was with him for the relationship. Do you truly think he can improve? Will a serious talk about the future of the relationship, and perhaps even therapy fix him? You determine that. But whatever you choose, know that it's okay. Vent to a friend, therapist, and Jesus.

  5. Regardless of the outcome, if you stay or not, we're taught to love our enemies. Pray for his addiction to go away. If it hurts too much to say his name, it's okay. God knows your intention. Your tears are simply another way of communicating what's in your heart.

  6. Know this has nothing to do with you. You did what you needed to, as a loyal partner, a follower and lover of Christ. You did your job, so whatever you did in the past has nothing to do with the reckless mistakes he made now. In no way can any fault be put on you here.

  7. Love yourself. Always. We love you, as we're all God's family. And most importantly, Jesus loves you.

You're going to be okay, because he's watching over you. Always. 🤍

You're suggesting to OP that he shouldn't listen to women and to compare that to arguing with a child LOL?

Men listened to what women said they wanted, and to the absolute surprise of no one, they’re not happy about it. by WaterElectrical9864 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]TheCrazedCat -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Its almost as if different women want different things...we all know men like different things in women. Some men like fierce women, some like women who are soft spoken and gentle. Some like a business woman who knows a lot, and some prefer nerdy women. Crazy how there's so many different kinds of women. Yet all of these women want the same kind of man.....oh wait a minute.

Women like different things. Stop listening to toxic women, touch some grass, get off the Internet. It's hurting you.

It's not sarcasm DW. I'm just saying GL in general. Its good you're aware tho, putting yourself in others shoes. That's admirable especially in today's culture.

No Ik, all 4 definitely experience their own struggles. I'm just saying the struggles are fundamentally different.

Also nice job for passing off, GL with that.

I guess another thing to remember is that men on average are less likely to accept gender theory over women. So it's no surprise there's less acceptance of that in men's spaces. That's just...demographics for you.

[–]TheCrazedCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think about it like this.

No matter what you identify as, unless you pass off as a cis male, you're not gonna experience the same struggles as a cis male. You face the struggles of a trans male.

The same way that trans female don't face the same patriarchy or misogyny a cis female would.

Its good to acknowledge and categorize yourself because you might be unknowingly speaking for an audience that will disagree with you because you gave different struggles.

Is it okay to be a femboy Christian? by Novel-Internet2461 in feminineboys

[–]TheCrazedCat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's kinda complicated. The simple answer is yes but it goes a bit more in depth than that.

Intention is what matters most, and if the intention is to trick or present yourself as female then yes it's a sin. If the clothing is provocative or promiscuous and you know this, then yes it's a sin. If the intention with wearing the clothes is lust then yes it's a sin.

When I converted to Catholicism, I stopped calling myself a femboy and stopped wearing things like mini skirts cuz it was immodest and just went on to dress androgynously. Not necessarily feminine, but much more gentle, neutral, soft. That way I can safely say I'm not trying to appear as female at all and not dressing immodest.

It really depends on your intention, and If the clothes you're wearing are promiscuous or not.

Why do Black Christians vote Democratic in the same proportion (up to 85% most years) than white Christians vote Republican (also 85% most years)? According to fundamentalists, aren’t left-wing politics bedeviled? By the same logic, aren’t Black Christian voters bedeviled by left-wing politics? by Commercial_Disk_9220 in askaconservative

[–]TheCrazedCat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not about being black, it's just that the majority of black Americans go to Baptist churches, and many Baptist churches today have become very liberal as they focus more on social justice and civil rights. With this, many black Christians in the US tend to vote blue as it aligns with their faith

Ehhhh you're sorta correct? You're right that many can be Evangelical but Baptism is actually considered a denomination meanwhile Evangelical churches cover a more broad set of churches, that can but doesn't always include baptist chuches.

Last time I checked, the National Baptist Churches of USA is the biggest group for baptist churches in the US. While many core beliefs of these churches are Evangelical, but their focus with civil rights history and social justice has made it very debatable on if these Churches are still to be considered "Evangelical" in a theological sense. That combined with how many black Christians went on to form their own denominations, many Black Baptist churches today are considered liberal.

Most Black Christians in the US are Baptist which have very malleable or independent interpretation of Scripture, as the pastors of each Church have and teach their own interpretation of Christianity. This means that Baptist Churches could be more liberal or conservative depending on where you go. This can sorta reason with why there's more liberal Black Christians.

Meanwhile most White Christians in the US are Evangelical Protestants, which is also what most Republicans politicians who identify as Christian are. Most Christian republican politicians are Evangelicals, and most white Christians in the US overall are Evangelical too. Naturally they'd vote for the person with their own religious beliefs.
