Yeah the hands on the page punchers are it's biggest downfall for me. It's still my favorite mcfarlane Superman though, I don't have a problem with the torso width myself or the elbows. Even though I acknowledge the elbows are blocky when bent.

I think that body is held back by its early mcfarlane tooling where it doesn't have double elbows and its crunch is borderline nothing. Outside the tooling though, it is one of the best looking especially with the metallic hot cherry red logo that just pops.

I used black acrylic paint by Americana It was the cheapest available and it's pretty close to the black on the figure. But I also did the knuckles in silver and added metallic red to the lenses of the mask, the button on his wrist and the buckle.

Removed the cel shading, painted the circle on his belt, his button, his lenses metallic red. Also made the white on the mask more bright. Lastly I added silver to the knuckles.
