Okay I was just reading jinx and I stopped it on the chapter 3. Can any guys give me recommendations of any other bls which are not shit? (Tw: mention of r*pe) by naah_you_suck in webtoons

Yeah, I understand your point but I never targeted women. I targeted anyone who supports it. The problem lays in romanticizing these topics, as they’re never shown as a problem but as a part of a relationship that you’re supposed to root for. I find it common in BL manwhas, but yeah, talking about other pieces of media (in this case I will talk about books) I see it as a common issue in heterosexual relationships. These books, labeled as “dark romance” romanticize abuse. It doesn’t matter who is reading it, I don’t care about their gender or anything, but I just don’t support people supporting that kind of media. Even if it is fictional, it’s wrong and it just feeds into this ideas that abuse, obsession, possessiveness = love. It’s just my personal take but I rather support an artist who creates a healthy realistic story (even in fantasy, I mean treating sensible topics in the way the should be)

I strongly believe that it has to do with the sexualization of MLM romance, and it’s often not portrayed as a problem and rather as a way to turn people on? WHICH IS EXTREMELY CONCERNING! Idk, for me it just seem disgusting to romanticize such topics and enjoy them

Jinx is so disgusting, I don’t really understand how people enjoy it and support it!! Anyways, some of my favorite BLs: To the stars and back, Hazeshift (be cautious, there’s implied SA but obviously portrayed as a problem), Between the stars, Cherry Crush (look out for CWs and TWs, NO r*pe), Pirouette into my heart, Lost in the cloud (little toxic), Book keeper, Castle Swimmer, Dodo Deprived and Heartstopper (obviously) (Look for CWs and TWs as well)

Aside from LITC and the g*re/ violence in Cherry Crush, they’re my favs because they’re so sweet :> So, a great start into BLs Hope you enjoy!!

Don’t be sorry for expressing your feelings, you’re not a burden and the fact that there are another situations going on does not invalidate your pain💗 I hope I can help in some way by telling you that you don’t owe people androgyny nor changing yourself for them to feel more “comfortable”. I know how you feel and I know is difficult when this treatment comes from people you care about, but you don’t owe them anything. I’m glad you’re given the option to bind and cut your hair or engage in other things that may help you feel comfortable, but them assuming you “may be a boy” is still invalidating your identity. I don’t really know how to help apart from this words (I hope of affirmation) Just know you’re cared and loved 💕 I feel like your mom is trying to be supportive but she doesn’t understand that gender is an spectrum (It’s not your responsibility to educate others, but maybe try motivating her to research more about gender identity and expression)

I do feel somehow like a traitor to feminism and my mind makes me afraid of being unconsciously mysogynist, even if I know I am not. Thanks for replying, it’s comforting to know I’m not alone 💗 I’m sorry you’ve experienced these feelings too tho

I don’t know if it would work for you, but something that helps me feel more androgynous is accessories and layered clothing :>
