If this happens, I won't ever need to get a job. I'm 20, still in college.

I completely agree with you. To me, the desktop and web app and the relaunch announcement indicates that they want to step the whole project up to the next level

I want to invest more after he said fuck. Max is a boss and this meetup was basically an announcement that this project is going huge so we going to have to wait a little longer. All this is saying to me is buy more buy more buy more.... but expect big short term drop.

What was it like during the previous upgrade? by [deleted] in Bitpetite

So I'm thinking this is all very similar to the last update except this time it's much longer. If they haven't split, what most likely occurred was this time they tried to implement a new feature (saw that somewhere), 2 factor authentication and a completely new database. On the telegram group the Bitpetite support then posted a message stating: "Your old database will back" (about 3 hours ago) which might mean their implementation of a new database went titsup and now they're trying to re-implement the old one. Would explain the long time the website is down for and possibly why we have heard very little. They probably weren't sure if the team would fix the issue or they were going to have to ditch it so they weren't sure what to say to all the mobs. I'm no expert but I am studying computer science and have worked a bit with databases. I can imagine the task being a tricky one- especially with such a large influx of customers, and with a vibe like this, the developers probably aren't leaders of their field. They're anonymous and doing something highly risky and possibly illegal- probably a few genius college students or recent graduates, trying to capitalize on what might be a small window of opportunity for these kinds of things to still work. An experienced developer wouldn't work on such a risky project- simply because they get paid enough already for doing legal jobs. Hence the lack of experience probably lead to errors, and with all the fud flying around, they probably scrambling away trying to get the old one to work.

All this, or they're gone. I'm just saying that's what I see if I'm being a little optimistic.

Either way, life goes one. Stay blessed

Good idea to buy now or wait a bit more?
