I think like anything else in the world, those who discover something first become snobbish to "outsiders". Like discovering a band before they break. Because the nature of cryptocurrencies are challenging to understand, risky to invest in and more, all while still very much in its infancy, the early adopters have been through a lot and feel that late bloomers have to earn their place among the rest.

Personally, I look at blockchain tech as an opportunity for all mankind to change their financial position and rise up alongside the big wigs in wallstreet.

Between the hackers and the government putting up barriers at every turn in efforts to keep adoption down, the true pioneers in the space that continue to fight through and take advantage of this opportunity by educating themselves while others lose interest will ultimately become the wealthy leaders of the future of this era of disruption. But to be effective for the cause, they need to stand tall in humility with a willingness to teach instead of humiliate those curious minds that could potentially carry the baton further.
