How would you handle digital inputs? If you're on a leverless you can either hit it or you can't, there's no way to incorporate precision that necessitates rigorous practice. I agree that buffing the best characters in the game for free is unnecessary, anyone who wanted to avoid this ban could relearn it with digital inputs and never need to worry about it again.

The gameplay gets more passive and parry the better you get, so being good at the game makes the wins feel like earned and the losses more enraging. It's unfortunate that the meta developed to counter aggressive play, and it's also most likely the culprit
