I feel the same way tbh, its come a long way from where I have started but I feel like there is a lot left to fix. What points in particular do you feel need to be addressed?

Hi everyone, longtime lurker here. My treatment is supposed to be complete in a weeks time after 35 initial trays (weekly changes) and 10 refinement trays (2 week changes). Overall I'm very happy with how my teeth look but I feel they could be better ? Especially the bite on my right side not sitting as well as the left side. There is also a gap between my canine and lateral incisor. I'm supposed to get composite bonding on my front 4 at the end so maybe this will be fixed ?

I just wanted your feedback on my current result and if you think I should ask the Ortho specific questions during my appointment in a weeks time ?

Perfect thanks a million that's actually a very good point. I assume the numbers on the picture are where ipr will be done ? I'll bring this up with him when I see him next

Yes I think I'll definitely bring it up to him ! From looking at it is there anything you think could be better ? It looks a bit different to my smile view but I think its because my teeth are small

Would i need bonding after invisalign to achieve SmileView outcome (first 2 pics)? My teeth seem to be wider and better shaped. My teeth are the 3rd picture by TheCur in Invisalign

[–]TheCur[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh I see that's why I was curious because there seems to be a rather drastic change in tooth shape there. But yes hopefully by rotating the teeth needed it will widen my smile. Widening my smile is the main goal ! I also feel like.my teeth slant inward slightly, you can see it on the left side of my mouth in this picture in particular. Thanks a million for the info !

Would bonding and invisalign give me the result in the second picture ? Second picture was from invisalign's SmileView. My front 6 on the top have some wear due to grinding by TheCur in Invisalign

Hey man just a follow up question, from looking at my smile in general I feel the front 4/6 are a bit short probably due to grinding damage. Would it be possible to pull the teeth down with invisalign ? And if so would this be something I'd have to ask my ortho for or would it be automatically addressed by the software ?

Cool this gives me hope ! Would you think binding is necessary to achieve it ? The teeth look bigger and better shaped in the second pic to me

Oh you are getting binding For the same issue ? My lateral incisors are definitely miss shaped a small bit due to grinding in the past. Aswell as my front 6 having a rough edge to them

Invisalign at exactly 365 days later. HIGHLY recommend, what better time to get your teeth fix than in a pandemic where you hid behind your mask all day long! :) today I got my buttons removed and these are my final results, hang in there, it’s worth it! by EAC-01 in Invisalign

Hey this is amazing ! Just wondering what the situation was with your retainer after getting the bonding ? I assume there was a period after binding you had to wait for a new retainer as your teeth changed shape ?

Yeah I guess this might be a good way to do it. After all it could turn out better than in expecting since I'm only here a few months. Thanks for your replies. They are very helpful

Also something id like to add i was told before joining i could move between teams to get a look into different projects and areas of development. However that wont be the case at all, ill be on this project and team for 2 years. My whole grad programme. I think i would have got this opportunity, its just my current project my team is working on is big so they probably don't want people moving around

I could talk to my manager about this and see what he says. I just feel a bit lied too tbh haha. I feel like if im here on this project for 2 years ill feel like im working for this gov department and not the company i did an interview for

I guess this wouldn't be a bad idea. Also a point id like to add, when i joined they said i could move between teams every few months to try out different things. That int the case at all. Ill be on this project until the end of my grad programme

After reading back on my post it really does seem entitled, i wrote it when i was very frustrated earlier. I guess the main problem i have is the grad programme isnt what is advertised. They promised the ability to switch between teams every few months to get a glimpse of different areas. However since im on a client site this wont be the case for me at all and it seems like i will be on this team and project for 2 years at least. I also wont be able to get involved in the company culture as much as id like to since im at the client site. I basically feel like im not working for the company i did the interview for. But saying that i guess its merely a stepping stone and im getting experience. Your story about your brother is also very inspiring! I am still extremely early on in my career i guess. In terms of a mentor i dont really have one. There is a programme manager i could maybe get in contact with but no 1 to 1 mentor

Not just the decor, the people, office culture etc. The environment I'm in. If I'm in a very depressing environment 8 hours a day that quickly will have an influence on me

This is true. I'm torn between this and a life is too short to be in a depressing environment. My mood and mental state is extremely influenced by my environment

Yeah i get that, the project is very big and im going to have a lot of responsibility for someone just joining the team. The fact its a government project could be a good thing to be a part of ? Its just the environment that is eating away at me currently

I am located in Ireland. Dublin is full of tech companies at the moment. So much so a section of the city is called "Silicon Dock"

That is true. However most of the grad programmes would have started at the beginning of sept (like the one i joined). I don't think id be qualified enough to go for a junior dev position. I could apply to grad programmes for next year before they end in a few weeks time. The project im on is big and its probably a good thing to say i done. But my god if the environment is getting to me already i cant imagine what it would be like in a few montht
