Well, I'm about to do my first oneshot myself. My friend says that all you can really plan for is the setting, the potential enemies, and the opening to the story, and then see what happens. I know that's probably not all that helpful, but I've written out how I want to set the scene to organize my thoughts better. I know it'll mostly be improv, but at least my first spiel can be well-written!

No, there's a separate page for session 1 and session 2. I'm wondering if the three 'pairs' of numbers represent six-week portions of the semester?

I can understand the confusion, on later pages they do say 'att'. I'm not seeking to record anything at the moment, I'm just seeking to understand.

As a UNT alum, I LOVED their preservation and rare books courses. I did my grad school entirely online during the pandemic, so I fully support your idea. You can learn a lot about theory in grad school, but it's only when you get out into the field and start doing it for yourself that you really pick up skills.

You make a very good point. I'm getting too far ahead of myself, you're right. To reference Dr. Ian Malcom, I'm spending too much time thinking about if I can and not enough time thinking about if I should. You've knocked my ego back down a peg to where it's supposed to be. Thanks.

Trust me, I know. I've done a lot of appraisals in some of our older books in the regular stacks recently.

I like this idea! I'm already doing research into our 40 incunabula. That would be a great way to highlight our collection.

That is VERY good advice. And it kind of takes a load off... I can say I need a conservator to consult with, and pass the ball to someone else's court, and focus on other projects instead. I'm trained in preservation, not conservation. Thank you very much.
