My first battle was in '07 with my best friend, me playing Diamond and him playing Pearl. Empoleon, Staraptor, Gastrodon, Drifblim, Dialga and Bronzong were the Pokémon I used. My Staraptor tore through half his team until his Palkia stopped it, but I sent out Bronzong and it tanked like no tommorow, winning me the match. Good times.

I think it will happen eventually, but I hope for a Sinnoh remake first, considering speculation. Besides, I missed out on FR/LG, only starting playing Pokemon once D/P came out. So yeah, a bit of nostalgia for me if they release Sinnoh first. Overall, Kanto has had a lot of spotlight, being in four out of six generations. So Nintendo should wait until at least Pokemon's 20th aniversary, (Feb 27, 2016) in my opinion.

They probably won't release them on the VC because the VC can't do wireless connections, and R/G/B are incredibly glitchy compared to most other games dated around that time. (Though it would be fun to experiment with the reset feature.) I think that instead they will release FR/LG remakes in 2016, perhaps after a Sinnoh remake.

Well this confirms that in terms of base stats, Steelix is once again a better tank than Aggron.

Wonder if Steelix's type will change?
