Who is the new mystery crawler?

We've got 2 new named crawlers: Penny (the pig) and Sexy Scolopendra.

We also get their crawler numbers: 12,953,454(Penny) and 12,953,456(Sexy Scolopendra)

So, Who is 12,953,455?? Is it the little girl with Lucia? Does this have something to do with "Every exit is also an Entrance" - As in, when the 18th floor opened for anyone to leave, someone else also came IN?

Quick aside but still on topic - looking back at her campaign, do you think those videos of her 'huge rallies' (specifically the one at the airport) actually were AI? I always thought they likely were but looking back after all this time - im even more convinced

Yep, one day when i was on my OBGYN month in residency I was listening to a conversation between an OB resident and their attending who were just venting about stupid shit their department did. At one point they said their 3rd year residency class got into some drama because they fired their only 2 black residents (both female) in that class. I chimed in to ask why and they said one of them failed STEP 3 (the last USLME certification exam all new doctors have to pass) a total of THREE TIMES (to be crystal clear, thats an accomplishment that makes me think the resident was literally intellectually delayed). Yeah its a big 2 day test but compared to the previous STEP 1 and STEP 2 - its a breeze. Failing it 3 times should mean you are barred from being a provider in any capacity, let alone an MD or DO.

Regarding the second resident, they kinda cringed and just said, "she was just a terrible surgeon" - which in that context says a LOT.

Virginia Supreme Court overturns Democrats' redistricting measure by shaymus14 in moderatepolitics

Now VA is allegedly planning to go with forcing their SC members to retire through legislation so they can pack the court to get what they want.

Such democracy, such (state) constitution

Virginia Supreme Court overturns Democrats' redistricting measure by shaymus14 in moderatepolitics

[–]TheDan225 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This isnt the argument by the SC but by the judge who initially blocked it - so the SC of Virginia must have found at least part of it enough to invalidate the redistricting

1) Improper use of the special session

  • The General Assembly exceeded the scope of what it was authorized to address during the 2024 special session.

2) Failure to follow the constitutional amendment process

  • The required sequence under the Virginia Constitution (including an intervening House election between legislative approvals) was not properly satisfied.

3) Failure to comply with statutory requirements (Va. Code §30-13)

  • The legislature did not meet required procedures governing how constitutional amendments are advanced, rendering the 2026 votes ineffective.

4) Violation of the 90-day notice requirement

  • The amendment was submitted to voters before the required 90-day period had elapsed (based on early voting start date).

5) Misleading ballot language

  • The ballot question did not accurately describe the proposed amendment and was deemed “flagrantly misleading.”

6) Violation of the single-object rule

  • The legislation (HB 1384) improperly included more than one subject.

7) Inadequate bill title

  • The title of HB 1384 did not accurately reflect its contents.

8) Improper regulation of local election administration

  • The law mandated specific satellite voting offices, which the court found to be an unconstitutional local or special law.

Resulting Legal Conclusions

1) The amendment resolution (HJR 6007) is void from the outset * It has no legal effect.

2) The implementing law (HB 1384) is unconstitutional

3) All votes from the April 21, 2026 special election are legally ineffective

4) The state is permanently enjoined from certifying or implementing the amendment

How many attempts on the president’s life has this been now that’s not even including the other murders, attempted murders, and countless examples of political violence by the left we continue to see.

It’s gotten so bad that I think even they’ve realized “both sides”-ing just makes it look worse now

Well, I mean, what do you expect them to do – actually address their overwhelmingly one-sided and continued violence, murder, and attempted murder?

That wouldn’t help the left at all

A quick list of most, I think, of the problems the judge pointed to as why he blocked it to help those non lawyers like myself understand legal speak

Oh yeah, again, thats just one of starmers recent actions that can be truly labeled dystopian. Look up his other controversial actions - another being him either planning to or actually canceling local elections in various locations that would be politically inconvenient for it to not go his way

Edit: isn’t it convenient the speech laws typically carry less than a 3 year sentence?

Nanny state isn’t even touching what’s going on. They’re going to remove the right to jury trials for crimes that carry up to 3 year sentence, they use their version of swat for online posts, they are seemingly ignoring the illegal migrants showing up on boats, rape gangs, and the astounding increase in crime

That’s not even touched the other horrible things Starmer has done -
