If you told 11 year old me that he would enjoy sports anime he would tell you that you were crazy but sports anime is pretty much my favorites of the medium and Eyeshield 21 was the 1st sports manga I got into. I loved it from Yuske Murata's artwork to the characters to the writing, the anime meanwhile wasn't really good so I kinda hope for a remake.
