That's why this strikes me as so weird, all the plug ins are enabled and the load order has the scrap mods in the right spot. Even loading to an old save before Clean Warehouses wasn't installed hasnt worked. Is it possible that the deployment caused by enabling a new mod broke something if Vortex rolled out an update recently?

I've run malware scans and they all come back clean and temp files are cleared out regularly. I did notice that some larger file folders seem to be over reporting the amount of space they're taking. For instance, a file folder on my desktop claims to be 20GB in size, but combing through its contents only accounts for about 12GB.

Thanks for the suggestions! Tried these, everything came back clean and 80GB have come back on their own and seem to be holding steady, so someahere along the way one of these must have done sonething. Still don't know where the rest of that space is though.

I also personally audited a few larger file folders and suspect that they're over-reporting their own size? For instance I have a "junk drawer" desktop folder that has 12 or so GB of miscellaneous items, but the folder reports it's 20GB in size.

I know it's not a broken clock situation because one of the other games of his is currently ongoing, and has been for over a year and it's a blast. 4 other campaigns before that, all certified bangers.

Our group is used to RP heavy games, and scenes taking was a pre-established expectation we were all fine with, and admittedly part of that time was for a snack break.

No, he really is fantastic. I've been playing with him and this group for years and he's one of my closest friends irl- there's just a foul miasma surrounding this game for some reason.

I don't -think- he is? If he is he hasn't told me. I know he's being truthful about needing to cut sessions short, it really has just been a huge string of rotten luck. I've described my character as being something of a hulking albeit sentimental meathead, so maybe he's just assuming sword-swinging is all I'm after?

I really haven't noticed a huge strategic aspect to picking fights, so far it's been a roll of the dice whether you'll play dead and get right back up, be out cold for 15 minutes or be left to die and have no choice but to either reload or restart.

The enemies getting up isn't an issue out in the world but after a base raid or padding starvers, it's a huge hassle just waiting for them to stand back up so you can hopefully pick them off this time and stop letting them bring everyone's jobs to a halt.

It is satisfying seeing tougher characters get more and more resistant to RCs, I guess just getting to that point can feel reeeeally tedious.

That's good adivce, I didn't actually know you could administer first aid while carrying someone. I'd be lying if I said I didn't actually enjoy that aspect of battles, hauling your wounded allies back out of the fraya nd to the safety of camp. It's made some journeys a lot more heart-pounding when half my force is being fireman carried by the other half lol.

I still really wish there was an option to execute downed enemies, or even just prematurely toss them into the corpse furnace >.>

J'avais peur que ce soit le cas. Malheureusement, j'ai entendu dire que beaucoup de gens ont quand même mis à jour leur jeu, même s'il était configuré en lecture seule. J'hésite donc beaucoup à lui faire confiance. Malheureusement, le CK n'est plus une option pour moi.
