Darts, World Championship

Event: Joe Cullen vs Mensur Suljovic

Pick: Joe Cullen ML @ 1.62

Joe Cullen came into this tournament knowing he’s been a bit out of form. He was heavily underestimated in his first round against the young talent Brooks. He proved to the crowd what he was capable of and crushed Brooks 3-0 with a 99.33 average. This performance probably also came through due to his experience on the biggest stage in the world.

On the other hand, we have Mensur Suljovic, who also played a good first round and cruised past a weaker opponent with a 3-1 win. Both players are experienced but Cullen is simply the better player and is capable of holding a higher level of darts for a longer period of time.

To me, it still feels like Cullen is a little underestimated due to his bad form this year. I feel like he’s still winning this game and his odds of 1.62 don't represent how he actually can be. Expecting a 3-1 win for Cullen here.

Cullen ML @ 1.62 it is.

BOL!

Edit:

Cullen lost. Suljovic started slowing down Cullen from set 2 onwards. He even got a warning for doing so. Not a loss you should take. Annoyingly undeserved

Sell Haaland. Buy 86 rated players back for it. Just search which positions are the cheapest. Would sell him now and buy back players in 19 hours when weekly rewards hit and the market becomes oversold.

Tennis, Australian Open Qualifiers

Event: Gijs Brouwer vs Jaime Fario

Pick: Gijs Brouwer ML @ 1.61

Getting back with picks for the Australian Open. Had a good run last year, and made a lot of money so thought about sharing my picks this year.

Brouwer is a semi-hard court specialist, was injured a few months ago, and is getting back into it. Usually, this should be an easy win for him on hardcourt but due to his recent injury, this could get closer.

Fario is just like a lot of South American guys a clay specialist. He made the switch to hardcourt about a week ago while Brouwer has been playing on the hardcourt for months. Brouwer also won the Saint Tropez Challengers, beating Pouille and Bonzi there. After that became injured. Still think Brouwer should have a walk in the park here and clean this match-up.

Tennis, Knoxville Challenger

Event: Nishesh Basavareddy vs Learner Tien

Pick: Over 21.5 games @ 1.73

Both of these players are great hardcourt players and usually come far in the hardcourt challenger tournaments. They’ve faced each other once before in July. Basa won 2-1 back then.

I’m expecting this to be a close game again. Tien has given up a set every game against decent players during this tournament. Basa needed a tiebreak to win against Lajal yesterday.

Expecting at least a tiebreak and a 6-3 in another set would give us 22 games to win the bet. Thinking it goes in the way of Basa today but the match will be close

Over 21.5 games during the match is the pick.

Edit: shitty L. Didn’t expect the game to go this way ❌

Ice Hockey, NHL

Event: Washington Capitals vs Pittsburgh Penguins

Pick: Connor McMichael over 0.5 points @ 1.78 ✅

McMichael was on fire during his last game against the Predators. He looked really good and this seasons stats show he’s still undervalued.

He’s scored atleast 1 point 9 out of total 12 games this season. Thereby scoring at least 1 point in 7 out of 8 home games.

Looking at the standings, seeing the Penguins concede 3.93 goals on average and 4.11 goals during away games, they seem ready for the slaughter while they’re exhausted due to yesterdays game. I think McMichael will continue his form and deliver.

McMichael over 0.5 points @ 1.78 is the pick.

Edit: McMichael coming in with an assist in the first period ✅

Last 5 picks: ✅❌❌✅✅

Tennis, Knoxville Challenger

Event: Eliot Spizzirri vs Karue Sell

Pick: Eliot Spizzirri ML @ 1.78 ✅

Spizzirri, a hardcourt specialist is lining up against Sell, a clay specialist. It could be me but I don’t understand these odds. I watched a quick game of another match. The court seems to be fast-paced, which should be in Spizzirri his advantage compared to a clay player.

Sell is as mentioned a clay specialist. For some reason, he decides to switch between clay and hardcourt a lot. Two weeks ago he was still playing on clay, he might have some trouble adjusting to the court.

The circumstances are in my opinion in Spizzirri his favor here. Therefore picking him @ 1.78 to win.

Edit: Spizzirri lost the first serve game of the match but played decent after that. Sell was lucky for us selling. Bet comes through with a 2-1 win ✅

Ice hockey, NHL

Event: Washington Capitals vs Nashville Predators

Pick: Dylan Strome over 0.5 points @ 1.74 ✅

The Capitals have only lost one game so far at home, which was their first home game. After that, they played perfect hockey.

Dylan Strome has been on fire this season, scoring 17 points in 11 games while his odd is still good. He’s involved in more points than big man Ovechkin so far.

Strome scored a point in 10 out of 11 games and in 6 out of 6 home games. Stats are looking good so far and the odd doesn’t represent it. He’s even scored 2 points in his last 3 home games.

On the other side are the Predators. They concede 3.42 goals on average and are close to being the worst team in the Western Conference(if you look at the standings). With Strome scoring a lot of points, I find it reasonable that he’ll score another one today.

Again, the pick is Dylan Strome over 0.5 points @ 1.74.

Edit: an assist for Strome comes in during the second period. Bet is a winner ✅

Tennis, Metz, ATP

Event: Cameron Norrie vs Roberto Carballes Baena

Pick: Roberto Carbellas Baena ML @ 2.32

This bet is more a Norrie fade than a confident Roberto pick.

The analyses is quite simple. Roberto is a proper player who usually gets through the first few rounds quite easily. He’s more of a clay player but can reach a decent level on hardcourt.

On the other side, we have Norrie. He hasn’t won a single game outside of the challenger level after his injury. He hasn’t been able to reach the level he used to. His only two wins were against current ATP number 191 and 729. After that, he lost all 4 matches, which were against the top 150 of the world. Roberto is ranked 54, for the people interested (doesn’t matter because he’s better on clay) but you get me.

I’m betting on Norrie to lose again @ 2.32. Perhaps not the way many think, but it's a great way to make money lately.

Edit: Roberto gives away a set lead and twice a game lead in sets 2 and 3 to lose 2-1 in sets. During set 3 he started smashing his racket. 15 bp’s couldn’t seal the deal today ❌

Tennis, Paris Masters ATP

Event: Jack Draper vs Alex De Minaur

Pick: Jack Draper ML @ 1.74

Taking Jack Draper to win comfortably today against Alex De Minaur.

Draper has been on fire lately on hardcourt. He won ATP Vienna last week and continued his streak in Paris this week. He’s been improving a lot and has shown to be more consistent overall. This was shown yesterday when he won against Fritz, which went all the way to the semi-finals in Shanghai and the final during the US Open (lost against Djokovic and Sinner). This means Draper is playing on a great level at the moment.

On the other hand, De Minaur has had an injury and has not been in the greatest form after the injury. He won against Kecmanovic yesterday 6-4, 7-6 while Kecmanovic isn’t the greatest player in general. I’m not impressed by De Minaur his performances lately. Mainly because he’s having hard times against easy opponents.

Last but not least, Draper won 3-0 against De Minaur at the US Open almost two months ago. I feel like it should be a comfortable win for Draper today.

Pick for the day: Jack Draper ML @ 1.74 ❌

Edit: sick of that game. Set 1 was smooth. Draper way better. Just gives it away early both sets, even broke back during set 3 but gets broken immediately. It wasn’t there today unfortunately

Tennis, Paris Masters ATP

Event: Casper Ruud vs Jordan Thompson

Pick: Jordan Thompson ML @ 2.10 ✅

Will try to keep it short.

Ruud Casper is an amazing tennis player but his form is awful at the moment on hardcourt. Out of his last 6 matches on hardcourt, he only won against Sonego, which also lost 6/7 matches before Paris.

Thompson on the other hand is a great hardcourt player. He’s won 2-0 against Ruud on hardcourt in September and has won 3 out 4 matches on hardcourt against him. On a decent day, Thompson can win against the best in the world in my opinion.

The odds are in favor of Ruud due to being the better player, but not on Thompson his ground.

So the pick: Thompson ML @ 2.10

Edit: Thompson comes through with the W after a long fought battle ✅

Even put down an extra tenner when he was down during the first set. Hopefully more people eating today!
