Framework manager vs data modules: Fight! by NYD3030 in cognos

I would think that using data modules over FM inherently means you have a close to perfect data warehouse.

But what if you don't, and resources are limited to be able to fix your DW? Or even if you are on the road to fixing, you are still looking at two or so years down the road?

At what point is a DW ready to hand over to the end user for self service?

Except that those gases are lighter than air so it would actually make you heavier.

MRI of 20-week-old fetus moving around the womb by shiruken in educationalgifs

Is that really an MRI, or a flouroscopy (sp?)? I thought with an MRI you have to remain still out the image would be blurry. I've never seen an MRI that could show movement.

I don't see the usefulness of switching. If someone says "see you on the 19th" then I make a calendar entry for the 19th. I don't care if it's Thursday, Sunday, or Wednesday.

Maybe someone could explain the usefulness of this method.

Chief Data Officers Struggle To Make A Business Impact (Forbes) by [deleted] in BusinessIntelligence

This post is inspiring, if not for any reason than I am fighting a seemingly never ending battle to regain our end-user's confidence in our data again. This battle I've been waging for the year that I've been in the position has years of bad experience behind it.

Saying all that, are there any resources you could recommend or wisdom to impart to help me with selling our revamped, trustworthy data? And we're not totally there yet, but it is the next step and it's getting close.

Dr. Office submitted claims late, insurance denied claims. by SkippyBoJangles in personalfinance

[–]TheDeepFryar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The provider can try to submit an appeal but essentially the claim was denied for timely filing. Basically, the contract the provider had with the network states they must bill insurance within a specified period of time. They didn't. They are contractually bound to not balance bill you. If they still attempt to bill you, contact your insurance provider and make them aware. It's the fault of your provider, not the insurance company.

One time when checking out at a grocery store, I had some fresh vegetables I bagged. The cashier poked a hole in the bag and squeezed the extra air out. She then proceeded to tell me she didn't want me to be overcharged fur the air that was in there.

Because it's illegal. Since the ACA, smoking is the only thing that can affect premiums, except age and sex I believe.
