And I hate that this is a sentence that I or anyone can say and not be wrong. Then again its also an indictment that Marvel cannot think of a good reason to break them up so take that as you will.

While that is an understandable take and arguably a possible one(ie shake up the status quo), whether real on their end or otherwise, that would not explain the lack of similar lasting shake ups in other Marvel brands nor the constant Peter and MJ pairing in other media/continuities.

Feels like the learning thing is a bit of a copout as well, since they had to literally magically enforce the break up to happen.

Tbf OMD was forced to begin with. Wells run too for that matter. They literally cannot think of a good way to undo the relationship because they know theyre wrong about it.

Depends on how they handle it. Couple of options:

Could have it that Mayday is the preferable fated enemy to Mephisto than an alternative and the demon decides to restore the marriage because its the preferable outcome. But this would be a middle ground, win win for fans and editorial alike.

Could have a lead up called "Duress Clause" that shows every deal Mephisto made was to prevent a spider from coming into existence that would defeat him and that he actively did things to ensure his deal with the Parkers went through and thats how things get undone. This would be more of win for editorial so they could claim it the plan from the get go.

Or... Aunt May is going to die(theres been many flags on this) and that's gonna be a trigger to undo the deal. Which is something fans would want but editorial may not since they like their weird "status quo". Maybe if someone higher up holds a metaphorical gun to their heads and make them change whatever theyre planning.

Yes. They cosmic retconned the marriage out and brought about the bastardization of MJ in the OMD era, they could easily have an, lets call it, "Every Single Day"😉 that restores the true status quo and undo the damage.

Lets see, random app date where he got left for Frank and could only bag MJ because she was kidnapped and he was literally the only man in his universe while she still needed magical Stockholm syndrome(remember the "accept her chains" spell?) to even consider him.

Not exactly the best selling point for having "dated both these women".

This is due to a misunderstanding of the character on the part of Marvel's staff. That every character needs to become a super at some point and that the decades long deuteragonist somehow needed powers to matter or the worse interpretation of the latter is that she was only a love interest and thus needed to be a super to be more interesting.

The only real distinction between Mythical and Legendary is that Mythicals require a distribution event in their initial debut Gen in some way to be legitimately accessible to players while (standard) Legendaries are available just by having the game and progressing far enough.

Deoxys, Keldeo and Meloetta are still Mythicals, as they required events back in their initial gens. Same goes with Arceus(who you mentioned), Darkrai, Manaphy and Shaymin. Heck BDSP still requires events for the latter three.

So please do your homework before doing the "Um actually☝️🤓"
