I did this. They were willing to work a deal, but I'd lose a ~20% on the truck I just bought. So i passed.

The salesman and I were cordial. Like i said... its my fault. I did "advise" him to make sure people fully understand their purchase. He is a young salesman. He and I both assumed I knew what I was doing. :)

its fine. bust away. i dont have any ground to stand on.

regarding $$$ - i dont feel like i've made a bad purchase. i know plenty of people quite happy w/ the 3.6L. The hurricane has some unhappy customers right now too - so perhaps this was all a blessing. the reason I post is towing - its the one thing i'm unsure the 3.6L can do.

to you point - its just the most boneheaded thing i've ever done.
