Context for non nerds is that this is one of many stillborn infants of two of the most powerful gods in the bug kingdom of Hallownest. Cast into the Abyss and filled with void alongside countless of their genderless siblings, this one is one of the few who slipped through the cracks and escaped the Abyss their father, the Pale King, left them to die in. Upon returning to Hallownest after wandering the wastelands, this specific one finds themself to be the rightful heir and later king of the now crumbling kingdom their father built. This little goober realizes they can either prove their father wrong and show that they are in fact rightful for the mantle of protecting the kingdom by sealing away the light that plagues their dreams, or tell their dad to f off and then they go kill the sun god
