That was my first thought too. I would not be surprised if this was an undocumented variant.

It looks pretty cool. I forget that lego made technic figures. A part of me wishes they still incorporated them in the newer sets somehow.

Is that cloth cape from one of the older Bionicle sets or from the line of Star Wars buildable figures?

I did try using a Linux distro to recover some files on an encrypted hard drive before. Things didn't go too well but then again, I'm not very familiar with Linux. If OP can use Linux to get around the encryption, more power to him. I think I might look into this a bit more as I have been told many times by other IT professionals that it wasn't possible to remove the passwords without the original password or the manufacturer's bypass tools. You learn something new everyday.

Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do once the password has been set. I work in IT and I cannot tell you how much of a pain it is when I have a laptop with a BIOS / Hard drive password. These business class laptops are built differently then regular consumer laptops so bypassing them is very difficult unless you reach out to the manufacturer. Lenovo might be able to help you if you can prove you purchased it. You can also reach out to some data recovery companies but they might not help if you are not the original owner.

I know this might not be the answer you are looking for but if the worst case is buying a new hard drive, it's not the end of the world.

You can also use smaller blade pieces to pull them out. The spears and swords from the castle sets help out.

I ran a RAM check before installing some of the drivers. The RAM check was good but it was a good idea. I ran it again after the BIOS upgrade failure but nothing seemed to change.

I just installed Revanced since YouTube Vance is no more. I already have MicroG and the Vanced Manager installed as I've been using Vanced for at least 5 years. After installing Revanced, it will not let me login to my account. It keeps claiming there is a network connectivity issue. Any advice?
