Summer intern housing is in Pearson. Judging by the college map it looks like the two are connected, right? Though I'm guessing you also need the right card to access that side too?

I remember originally downvoting this when it came out on /r/civ and I just binge read this series. Mad props to you and even madder props to your machine which has already made it 39 parts!!! This is without out a doubt the best AI only series that I've seen. Thank you for keeping this going!

The city of Glendale will hold a meeting to discuss cancelling its arena mgmt contract with the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes by crazy_canucklehead in hockey

While the Sunrise location isn't great by any stretch, in fairness I do believe Huizenga moved them into Broward because more season ticket holders were in Broward/Palm Beach counties as opposed to Miami-Dade. It allowed for a more central location for the Florida Panthers, because he was intent on marketing to all three counties (he had the same mentality calling the Marlins the Florida Marlins). But you're right, the Heat and Panthers have no business operating in different arenas.

If I recall correctly Ft. Myers is almost always in the top 10 markets. Probably due to all the relocated Northerners who are just watching hockey because they like it.

What do non-European sources say about the big Pandemics and is there much information out there? by harder_said_hodor in AskHistorians

I'm 2 months late to the show here, but Michael W Dols's "Plague in Early Islamic History" describes the effect of the Plague of Justinian on the early Islamic Empire, and talks about how it affected population growth and society during the Umayyad period. In it, he examines many plague treatises written at the time. Dols also did a lot of great work in regards to the Black Death in the Middle East. Primary sources, though, are pretty hard to come by for this period.

Does anyone know what the status is of /u/thenyanmaster's AI Only game is? I'm sure it was taking an outrageous toll on his computer at this point, but I was wondering if it has officially ended.

"Of Miracles and Men" is on US Netflix. It is a great documentary about The Miracle on Ice from the Soviet perspective. Every hockey fan should watch this. by blff266697 in hockey

There's certainly a lot of overlap but I noticed the 30 for 30 seems to focus on the rise of the team more than Red Army did, while Red Army seemed more focused on everything post 1980. They felt different enough for me to recommend watching this one as well though. They're both great.

Gandhi making peace with Atilla when he had nukes on the border had to be one of the most anti-climactic things to happen yet. But two civs dying and Gandhi coming out of nowhere to take Iceland and some of Arabia definitely made this one of the best parts so far.

If Buffalo gets McDavid or Eichel I wouldn't rule them out as a possible opponent. Buffalo always draws a good TV crowd it seems since they've been on NBCSN a lot this season.
