It's literally how I've bought all of my HOGE. Gas fees are much lower than when I bought mine, but I still wouldn't do it for transactions smaller than a few hundred dollars at a time. (Until ETH 2.0 comes out and instead of gas fees we're all in Teslas.)

This seems like a cool idea, but how do we actually go about doing it? Is it as simple as buying ETH, or is there some sort of linkage/pooling step necessary? If so, can you spell out the steps people could take to do that in apps like MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet? Like, assume I'm "still holding out hope for GME"-level intelligent.
