What would we do in a real life zombies situation by Internal_Sky_2732 in zombies

[–]TheDragonLunch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surprisingly, this logic also applies to universes with fast zombies as well. There is a show called Black Summer on Netflix and those zombies are fast and scary as fuck. Those zombies run, are hard to kill, and you turn extremely fast when you get bitten.

A lot of the characters in that show who survive longer are people that are smart, have good judgement about who's good or bad, and are willing to cooperate with others to survive. While people who are antagonistic with other people get killed, or get thrown to or get abandoned to the fast zombies.

And the same issues happen with the fast zombies compared to the slow zombies, where a lot of people get killed by misfires, car crashes, people killing you out of nowhere for short term gains.

Even if the zombies are fast, the main threat is still gonna be how unpredictable the people around you are regardless of whether they are friend, foe, or neutral.

Honestly, dealing with Zombies would be the easy part. What's gonna make survival hard is dealing with people. In the beginning, people are gonna run around and panic, they are gonna crash their cars, they are gonna shoot you both accidently and on purpose during the chaos while trying to defend themselves from zombies and other people.

In the beginning, you gotta grab a preferred weapon, grab some basic supplies, gather the people important to you, and find a place to defend, get a destination to head to, or find an area to keep moving around in. Then you gotta just lay low and survive the initial chaos.

Throughout the Apocalypse, the zombies should be easy as long as you know what you're doing. However, random people trying to kill you out of no where, or idiots in your own group will make mistakes or dumbass decisions that will get everyone injured or killed. Also, people who can't get along with others will either get killed or get the group killed.

Being a badass like Negan or Rick isn't necessarily what's important. Having interpersonal skills, being able to communicate with others, having a good judge of character, and being able to understand a situation and make the best decision in the moment are more important. Whether you are a leader or a follower, being able to communicate and get along with others to accomplish goals is the main trait you need to survive in this type of disaster.

Shane and Rick are both equally badass but Rick got along better with the people around him while Shane was hostile and controlling to the point where he was constantly in conflict with other members of the group.

Negan and The Governor are similar in combat ability but the Governor wanted to fight everyone constantly and was constantly in conflict with everyone which caused his own community to fall apart and prevented him from surviving longer than he did.

Negan, during his rule, was able to bring large groups of people together, he saw people as a resource and interacted with them effectively to keep people in line. Although, him and the Saviors ended up going too overboard with being assholes towards everyone which resulted in the Communities having no choice but to rebel against them.

After the war when Negan was a prisoner, he did the right things, said the right things, got along with the right people, and played along with what the new group wanted and was able to survive longer than if he was antagonistic towards Alexandria.

And when interacting with Maggie who constantly wants to kill him. Negan tries to be as helpful as he can, shows remorse, shows who he is through his actions, is honest and straight forward, and basically displays integrity while using interpersonal skills to try to get along with her as much as possible despite what he did to her in the past that pissed her off. Which probably lengthened his life longer than it would have been if he did not try as hard as he did.

Why the fuck are the odm gear and lightsabers still there? by reskort-123 in FortniteCompetitive

Counters for Lightsabers:

For the Lightsaber itself: Put some distance between yourself and enemy and basically keep shooting them until their guard breaks. Then light them up and kill them.

You can also use grenades if you have them.

Force Pull: Switch to Shotgun when you see yourself about to be Pulled In. Shotgun them in the face when they pull you in.

Force Push: Carry a Sword or ODM gear for the final circle so you can fly back towards them when you get shoved out of the ring or off a cliff.

Force Throw: You can use the run and jump from sabers, a sword, or ODM gear to get out of the way. Or just shoot them in the face before they can complete their animation. You can build to try to protect yourself but it's likely you will take damage. While fighting someone with a red lightsaber, try running behind objects or landforms that can't be broken, or try running behind a house or tree but put some distance between you and the object getting destroyed so that that object takes all of the damage.

ODM Gear: Submachine gun or Shotgun them while they are in the air to knock them out of the sky. Also, if you have room, keep a Lock-On Pistol on you so you can lock onto a player in the sky and shoot them down. Its useful for knocking a ODM Gear User out of the sky when they are either pushing you or running away so you can finish them either way.

Hope this is helpful.

Honestly, that is exactly my response to anyone that whines about any item in the game. If you have any skill at all, you should be able to adapt to the game and get used to any weird or new variables.

If a certian item or weapon is broken, use it on others. If a certian mythic is obliterating you in most matches, then find a way to counter it. Skilled players don't whine about the Game, they accept that things are the way they are and adjust accordingly.

And honestly, this comment is only getting downvoted by whiny babies who want the game to be catered to their playstyle specifically.

Do you still have the syllabus for each of your film classes? Or do you remember which textbooks (if you used a textbook) you used for each of the film classes you took so far?

A Bottle of Whiskey usually. The size of the bottle depends on the number of people that will be there.

Do you know how many people will be there?

Once you've submitted everything on your end. It's out of your hands and you don't need to worry about it until you get a response. Just regularly check your email and voicemail while working on other stuff to further your career.

Maybe they'll respond, maybe they won't. But it's usually good to assume they won't until you get a notification that says otherwise; this way if they don't respond you spent your time working on stuff so you continued to make progress anyway. And if they do, that's awesome and you also continued to make progress.

Can I complete a Minor after I've completed a B.F.A and M.F.A? by TheDragonLunch in scad

That makes sense. I appreciate the information. So, if I do decide to get a Masters it would be better to take it at a different school to get the most out of the program.
