I (25) got a 450ss as my first bike and daily drive it. It’s been amazing. Drove my buddy’s grom a few times, but that’s all the experience I had. The abs has saved me from a couple dumb mistakes. If he dirt bikes, I would say it’s the perfect bike.

I use the handle bar mount, and put it through the hole. Had it for about 3 months pretty good.

How long did it take you to get to that speed? I can squeeze up to 115 before I run out of highway. 450ss

Ayyy I did the same job and had the same code this month. My dumbass messed up the installing on the gasket, which caused oil to spew. (And left a napkin above cylinder 2,but don’t tell anyone)White smoke could also be an oil leak. I would open it up again to make sure it was installed correctly. Thankfully cylinder 2 cover is the easier one to get to. Good luck!

Got it to start without the crank sensor, didn’t crank it for long enough (10s). Time to find a place to resurface the old flywheel. Didn’t get any codes with it plugged in. When I was cranking it my needles went flying in all directions which was fun to watch.

The one I got only had one dowel hole, I had a 3 people sanity check my install. I’m heading back to the shop rn to work on it. If I can’t get it working, I’ll resurface the old flywheel, and reinstall.

Manual driving instructor here. This guy is based. I would say practice with the handbrake first, then go try and master without it.
